What games do you have for it?
ActicEdge
A bunch, but Tri is really the only one I still play semi-regularly. Admittedly I'm not much of a console gamer...
I'm preparing myself to cringe at the reviews. Especially the ones that claim it has horrible motion control but then we figure out they were just waggling the whole time. It happens far to often with many Wii games, it's kind of sad.ChubbyGuy40
I expect some sites like ConsoleTrailers to fully bash it because they couldn't figure out the controls.
It is understandable though. The GC version of Twilight is FAAAAAAAAAR better than the wii version, imo. Some people just don't like swinging a controller around, especially for more traditional games.

It's not so much the waggle bit, it's like they're completely unaware that it requires proper motions. I just don't want to see a review based off of a playthrough like this or this.
Two different outlets playing the game completely wrong. lol.
I absolutely adore Avatar. :)
psn8214
I wanted to make some joke about it being the wrong Avatar or something, but I got nothing.
Anyways, I'm pretty ****ing excited for Skyward Sword. I'm hoping for 9.5. I'm a bit bummed it isn't ALL orchestra, seems weird to do it for Mario but not Zelda. Craft system sounds cool, it said you can make a lot of different shields from enemy drops and such.
Lol, I can imagine your sword arm bulging and pulsing with hard muscle while the other one's either flabby or skinny as hell in comparison (no offense, just a little joke)I've been lifting weights with my sword arm for weeks in preparation for this game.

actually mario wasn't completely orchestrated either. There are certain instances where it wouldn't fit the scene.
Yeah, I understand, trust me. It seems actual reviews, based on the QUALITY of the intention of the game, do not exist anymore.
I like Ganon ok, but I feel Zelda needs more villains to be shown. Like how the series had the likes of Vaati and Majora's Mask. Now if we can get Kirby to appear in another Zelda to have him and Link go at it again. No Ganon in this game! That's some good news!
93BlackHawk93
Wow...I'm speechless, that sounds phenominal. One of the reasons I loved Majora's Mask so much was because it felt so different from any Zelda game ever and featured a different antagonist, and since this game fits that discription, this sounds like it will be one great Zelda game, I'm picking this game up the second I purchase a Wii-U, unless they port it to the Wii-U for a launch title.
I thought it was gonna be fully orchestrated :( Some is better than none though. They probably couldn't get them done in time or something.
Comes out in November though, or it should. Nintendo said holiday season so anytime between October and December.
ChubbyGuy40
I guess so, I mean Galaxy 2 wasn't fully orchestrated but I hope the majority of the game is... But still why the in the fudge would you mention something like that if it ain't the majority?:?
As for the release date, I knew it was holiday 2011 but I was hoping that a solid date was out.:P Oh well, I wouldn't put it past Nintendo if they decide to release it in December, but that would blow.:P
I enjoy how you correlated both of the different meanings of said title of Avatar there ol' chum.:P
psn8214
Ha, thanks. :P I do adore both Avatars, and my own avatar, so it worked fantasticly.
What are the odds eh?:P I thought one of them a lot, you choose which one.

Exciting news, also anyone know about a specific release date yet?:P I can't wait for this game!:D
But what if some of the areas have a technological feel to them? Can't exactly orchestrate songs to go along with those area's :P
Even though the game takes place before OOT >_>
:P I'm sure it will have an amazing soundtrack, even TP had an outstanding soundtrack and none of it was orchestrated.
I was playing TP the other day and man, Galaxy spoiled me.:P I swear that game would've been beautiful if it had orchestrated music... and in HD.:| Ah who am I kidding, orchestrated at least would've been nice.:P
- there most likely is not a relationship between Ghirahim and Vaati93BlackHawk93
I would hope not. If this is before Ocarina of Time and Ghirahim is connected to Vaati then that would make the Four Sword Games before Ocarina of Time, but from what we know the 4 Sword came from the Master Sword so how can Four Swords be Before Ocarina of Time when the Master Sword wasn't even made by then?

AVGN reference for the win. :lol:Anyway, I just brought up the Piccori Sword due to Minish Cap on the GBA.
If I recall correctly (it's been a while since I played), once you get all the temple items. You get the Four Sword.
Very nice, hopefully my Wii still works, i have not opened it since Zelda TP and that was almost 5 years back
Might want to buy a lens cleaner and clean it twice, just in case.Very nice, hopefully my Wii still works, i have not opened it since Zelda TP and that was almost 5 years back
Time to buy a Wii, then.93BlackHawk93You don't have a Wii? Not in the US. Have one at home, but I won't be taking it to college with me. So it's time to buy a new one.

You guys gotta work out? I'm already set 8)
I don't need extra practice :P
Here is a GS demo. Dang Chris Watters seems to really like where Nintendo is headed. He'll most likely review it too considering he did so with Ocarina of Time 3D.

You learn something new everyday. :P
On another note, it says it comes before OOT, but I thought I heard earlier it was after. Either way, its cool.
Can't wait for this! My wii has been sort of a paperweight since metroid other: m and kirby's epic yarn, so do i need motionplus? I really don't want to buy it.YoshiYogurtYeah, but you can get a Wii Remote Plus since it has the M+ built in.

My guess is that it wouldn't fit certain moments in the game, like if something comical or light hearted was happening.- quite a few fully orchestrated songs, but not all
Is there a reason why they don't have all songs fully orchestrated?Shame Ganon isn't in the game.Damn shame.

Well Koji Kondo likes using Midi and he likes that Midi can sound as good as Orchestrated music in this day and age also Midi is more dynamic because when you go from one area to the next you don't have to have a loading screen for them to change the song. It is a smooth transition from one song to the next since the music is created with a computer.- quite a few fully orchestrated songs, but not all
He didnt say anything about Ganondorf :PSounds amazing! ;)
I'm also glad Ganon isn't in the game. Just new villians. :)

Agreed ganon/ganondorf is freaking awesome. Especially in WW where Link and him go at it like real face stabbing men. How do you guys not like the King of Evil.
- Skyward Sword comes before Ocarina of TimeLucianu
That's.. impossible, but who am i kidding. Everyone knows that each game is a parallel universe.
Not really this game details how the master sword was forged. And considering how everyone agrees the timeline split during OOT, there has to be something that happened before hand. I stayed up all night getting refamiliar with the zelda timeline, god i'm tired.
Why all the Ganon hate? Looks like this game may be before any current Zelda mythos considering it predates the Master Sword.nintendoboy16I don't hate him, just want to see more villains in the series. Like they did with Vaati and Majora's Mask.
All of the zelda villians add something. zanht was mysterious and crazy, Vaati was naivei, and Ganon is entitled arrogant, ambitous, and sinister with a touch of class. Ghirheim seems crazy, unhinged, self absorbed, immature, and a lot more blood thirsty. Variety is the spice of life and its good Link has a wide variety of foes. Ganondorf will always be his main bad guy though, he matches link in pure bad ass points.
