It still can't top MW3 in terms of quality. So much for the cutscenes, Nintendo.

If it makes you feel better, WW was rushed according to Nintendo, they apologized for it! This one has been in production for 5 years.

Wind Waker was rushed?
There were supposed to be eight more dungeons in the end instead of the stupid Triforce Quest, but they had to chop that out to release the game on time.EIGHT? It was more like 2-3.
IIRC it was the items you found in empty islands. I don't remember which items, but you basically went to a very small island and found an item. That was planned to be a dungeon.
You're back again, are you?It still can't top MW3 in terms of quality. So much for the cutscenes, Nintendo.

They said the game was too long and they wanted everyone to be able to finish it. :P Of course they did :P Yeah, take it with a grain of salt, right? :P But I'd imagine that was actually a factor, just not the biggest one.

Oh no, it couldn't have been the disc. The Wind Waker is 890 MB, whereas a Gamecube disc can hold 1.4 GB. There was plenty of room to add more content. I'm pretty sure it was cut because Gamecube sales had effectively stalled.charizard1605

'The Gamecube is failing! We need this game out now!'
'But it's not completed yet!'
'Just cut out this content, and release it now!'
'Yeah, you're right... anyway, I felt the game was getting too long, so we might as well get rid of this stuff, to keep the length manageable.'

The entire portion after
Link goes underwater and finds Hyrule frozen in time
is so incredible that it still gives me goosebumps. No other game does that, not after so many replays. The Wind Waker is truly timeless.
Yeah, I find it very moving too. WW is a hell of a game. Can't wait for Skyward Sword...

The only thing I hate about the triforce quest was the fact I had to continuously change the Wind. Wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for that...The only real problem with the triforce fetch quest was how Tingle gouged you for rupees. By the time I had finished the 2 dungeons I had about 6 of the charts anyway. I spent so much time exploring that really, finding the charts was not the problem, the problem was that Tingle charged over 3000 rupees to have all your parts translated.
