Rico from KILLZONE 2 was NOT annoying, he was just not a like-able person and sort of a turn off, his "Im always angry and I dont think before I take action" attitude didnt fit.

Hope from Final Fantasy XIII is the most recent annoying character I can think of, really. Actually, almost the entire cast of protagonists were annoying in that game.

None come to mind immedialty but I'm sure I'll wonder how I didn't think of some when I look through the thread. I'm sure there will also be characters listed that aren't actually annoying at all and someone says them anyway with some dumb excuse like "they don't talk enough" or something.

Grim Reapers from Kid Icarus. It is the way they react when they see Pit. Other annoying creatures from Kid Icarus are Eggplant Wizards and in Uprising, Tempura Wizards. I hate being turned into an eggplant or tempura.

Leonard from White Knight Chronicles. His incessant whining about a girl he doesn't even know was so damn annoying. The character was so vapid it was ridiculous.

Add Bayoneta to that list as well, just looking at her annoys the hell out of me.

As well as Kratos. How he has a fanbase is beyond me. It seems many people like depth to their characters, but the characters with REAL depth are criticized while the flatliners are praised. And Kratos is about as flat as you can get. All he does is roid rage over things that are mostly his fault.
