I read through the first 2 pages and cant believe ppl havent said SOTC yet. Even though I never played it, (ps2 broke around the time i was planning to buy it:() I have seen nothing but positive reaction abt that game.Uzumaki_Naruto5

I didn't care because the environment/story intermixed was always amazing. That is one of the few games where I didn't care if the story line was always the same with a evil super company, genetic mutations and zombies. Fine, change the controls but NOT the essence of the game. I now look at RE:5 and see the same thing.

Starflop sucks, I made way too many arguements and a gave various reasons why and also Starflop is only respected by the Koreans. Now after E307 my beliefs on Halo War's superiority is undoubtable.

OK, so that everyone' keeping track, the games we have that are the most hater-proof is: Starcraft Zelda Oot (It rumored that this game was developed by God himself) GTA III 2d Marios Half-Life Halo CE Goldeneye God of War KOTOR I like to add: Street Fighter II (I'll fight anyone that says different) Tekken Tag Tournament (this is the one Tekken that you can't argue about) Smash Bros series (It doesn't matter whether you think it's a real fighter, you still bought a Gamecube just to play it) Ninja Gaiden (Why is this 3 year old game the best and argueably the prettiest game on the PS3?) This gen, Gears of War is hater-proof. Graphically, this is the bar. Gameplay wise, it basically ripped of the engine of last gen's best game, RE4, and the best game that no one has played, Killswitch (is that the name of it?), and combined them. Also, if you go by X-Box Live, this game officially became the Halo killer, dethroning Halo 2 after 2 years for top played online game.chaotzu

RE 5 is being developed by Capcom's top-tierteam.

What are you talking about? After playing RE4 on the Wii I don't see how anyone wouldn't want to play RE5. Though it'll be a step back in the controls department.

Here's a list of games I came up with that I've yet to see any semi-reasonable poster bash:

Bioware: The combat system in infinity engine games (BG, BG2) is terrible and the dialog options were severly lacking. NWN failed to deliver on being an easy to use on-the-fly multiplayer adventure. Again, the combat system was terrible. KotOR (Bioware, no?) had a terrible combat system as well.

Fallout's combat system was pretty bad. Better than most real-time schlack that they put in RPGs, but easy to exploit the terrible combat AI.

FF7 was just another cookie cutter FF title. All that changed between it and the previous title was 3D and ridiculously long summon animations.

I can't think of anything that's really bashable with Deus Ex, OoT, or StarCraft. Unfortunately, I never played Perfect Dark or Goldeneye.
