Zelda OOT, Starcraft, FFVI, Chrono Trigger, and probably a vast majority of PC games out there that I've never played because I never had a capable one when I was younger. Those games come to mind.
If you were going to talk about the one game, that no one could say something really bad about it would have to be Half-life. Other highly respected games are MGS, MVC,Xenogears, Wild Arms, MEtroid PRime, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, FFVI, and Deus Ex.
I think people dont bash CS alot is because hermits will jump into the fray saying " go and play your auto-aimed newbified console shooter" I dont really like CS it's way to fast paced for me Im more a a tactical strategie person like socom.

wow dude u are one of the stupidest posters ive ever come across...lets see re4 revolutionizes third person shooters with its camera angle and shooting mechanics while halo is a generic sci fi fps that has been done a million times and in doing so adds nothing to the genre, everyone who read your post is now dumber for having read, i award u no points and may god have mercy on your soul
Resident Evil 4, Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Link to The Past, Halo 1/2, Ninja Gaiden. I don't see how anyone wouldn't enjoy those games. They're masterpieces.

In my opinion, tactical shooters are the best type of shooters.
