[spoiler] While i've only done a couple, it seems that Nintendo has hidden green stars throughout the levels to encourage exploration. It's better than having a Luigi playthrough, but it hardly adds to the experience. It seems like a sort-of filler to get to the final galaxy. I'll do more green stars and PM you my thoughts. I am quite surprised that some people have already received 120 stars as I am having problems getting my 67th. Perhaps I am not good in 3D Mario games as in 2D Mario games. The 3d perspective is something I have still yet to be comfortable with even though I have played the first Super Mario Galaxy and before it Super Mario Sunshine many years back.

This may explain why Nintendo provided a DVD tutorial for the Japanese and European versions.

And one thing about the boss battles...

[spoiler] I am quite surprised as how large the boss characters are, especially Bowser. They do put up with a challenge [/spoiler]

Seriously? Least favorite galaxy so far, both stars were not fun at all. My favourites are probably Boo Moon, Melty Molten Monster, Slipsand, Shiverburn, Space Storm, HoneyBloom, Flipsville. I know thats alot, but honestly they are all freakin' incredible.
