That's probably the reason I don't own one currently, all 4 of those franchises with the exception of forza I find total garbage. You can't use one games loading times as an average for a system, lol. Your internet might just suck dude you did mention Europe. That was the worst one at nearly 30 mins, others usually take 15 to 20 mins. It's a big problem for me. My internet is fine, my 360 updates games in <30 seconds and downloaded Crysis 1 (full game) in less time then a PS3 patch. ps3 is not a complete failure but im starting to regret buying one, I got all the games and I dont even play them unless my 2 friends come over and they are sony fanboys. Its store is a laggy joke at best though PSN+ isnt THAT bad but they should atleast allow you to play one of the newer games free for a month, it doesnt fully feel worth the $50 you are putting into it and I should know, I shop Amazon all the time and found I could have saved money by doing so.

for a console it's the best this gen for me though, some things could have gone better of course like I'd really like more rpgs, but then again 360 doesn't have that either aside from the ones they got early on.

(No M$ money grabs, no XBL, and no hidden fees) And the fact that the 360 came out with ancient old tech, that makes it all the more worse. While the PS3 came out with cutting edge tech like blue ray, the cell, and had wi-fi installed into the console..... And still it cost less in total to play the PS3 the way it was fully itended to,then it cost to play the 360 the way that M$ lead you to believe you would be able to - when you first bought it at its intial smoke screen price. Hidden from consumers were the fees that it took to start playing the 360 the way that M$ fully intended it to be played. Edit, and just to add to this( specifically the point about the hard drive) A 360 with a hard drive, which a hard drive is essential to the xbox "experience", cost you another 100 $ more, Now add the games for 60$, and the 60$ (at the time 50 $) YEARLY fee for XBL The PS3 will ONLY cost you what you paid for at the start, while you'll get to play all your games online for absolutely free. The cost of the 360, to play it to its full potential (online) will add up, and over time, the 360 will cost you a fortune 3 years of XBL is 180$ + buying games for 60$, that can turn the 360 into the cost of a freaking car. We are talking about games like Bioshock, Mass Effect, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, which all use to be 360 exclusives at one point or another AND NOW THEY are ALL available ON THE PS3. Every single game of every respective series is avaible to play on the PS3 They ARE PS3 games now. Many even consider Bioshock to be better on playstation platforms now!
