All of them are next gen, fanboys just cannot see that. Right now, the 360 does quite a few things better. They have achievements, a seemingly trivial but surprisingly catchy system that can extend replay value, online video marketplace, better online (why the hell can we not read someones message without quitting the game on ps3?), and multiplatform games are actually better looking on them.

I am not denying the ps3 is more powerful... it probably is, but much harder to work for, hence why most multiplatform games are worse. Anyway, they are both next gen, and you need to accept that.

ps3 gpu is less powerful than a 7800 gtx only 4 vertex vs 8 on gtx.

This thread reeks of fanboyism. The PS3 may be a good value and all with its Blu Ray player, but not everyone gives a rat's ass about it. I personally don't give a crap about Blu Ray playback at the time being. And as far as it being the only next gen system, well, you're entitled to your opinion, but it would be a wrong one.

The 360 has thebest and most varied libraryof games right now, and for me, that alone makes it a must buy. I'll buy the PS3 when it appeals to me, but who knows when that's going to be...

First off, money isn't at all hard to come by.

Secondly, I have all three of this generation of consoles and so far the PS3 has been the least favorite of mine. That is of course my personal opinion.

My launch Premium 360 has had Zero problems with my playing it. My launch Elite is also having Zero problems. Does the 360 have it's flaws? You bet, but so far the PS3 has been the most LACK-luster system on the market.

Blu-Ray? I'll say it many times over, NOT NEEDED THIS GENERATION. Cell? Folding @ Home, yes I deleted it.

The PS3 is the Next Generation of GAMING CONSOLE from Sony, not a computer. Put Linux on it? People were doing that with the first Xbox, and I'll ask the same question now that I did to those idiots last gen? What the heck for? There's no point.

1080p looks the same on my 360 and my PS3. The Wii sucks in the graphics area, but it's still fun.

The Wii launches with ONE SKU while Sony and MS can't seem to iron out ONE cost effective option. I wonder how many monetary resources MS and Sony wasted with multiple SKUs when their fanbase (Both MS and Sony consumers) would've purchased a singular SKU no matter the price.

I CAN'T use the Logitech G25 with my 360. A Gigantic MIDDLE FINGER to you MS. Yes, thanks for that one, and No, I'm not purchasing your crappy wheel option. I will enjoy my G25 with GT5 and my PC racing games.

And yes kids, 2 Gaming PCs in my house. One for the wife, and one for myself.

So, in closing. If you're a fan of a console. Good for you. Don't be an ignorant fool about it and post your "reason" why X system is better than Y system. Anywho... first of all I care about games. That's what makes a system a must buy. I won't be getting an HDTV for probably 2-3 years or more, don't need it or want it really. Blu Ray isn't a selling factor for me in any way and for many others too.

I just want great games. Which the PS3 will have like MGS4 and Killzone 2 and LBP etc... But both the 360 and PS3 are Must have's this Gen is my point.

And honestly your PC point is nice but for the millions of people who don't PC game I could care less about that point. I'm not a PC gamer and probably will never be so when I wanted Bioshock I didn't even think about it going to PC.

Well, there are no good sales numbers coming from outside of England, Japan and the North America, so I don't know what you think you proved. If you go by the numbers MS or Sony are providing then you are just proving that some people are willing to believe the crap provided by a corporation's propaganda machine.

I have a bunch of friends in Italy and they told me that the 360 is winning in that country. Some Cows believe that Italy is Sonyland. I believe the information coming straight from the horses mouth...not the cows mouth. :P

Edit: I also know a couple of guys from Mexico City...yeap, you guessed it....the 360 is kicking butt in Mexico too. The reason? Well, they said that at first it was because of the price (the PS3 is like $1000 down there), but now its also about the games (the 360 library is awe inspiring).

Exactly, I love games not Blu Ray and freaking Spiderman 3 but NO FREE GAME! That's so stupid. I don't wanna be a part of your Blu Ray push... to me it's still sad that they are showing where their heart is. I wonder if Sony is loosing it in terms of games on their system.

Last gen they had everything for most gamers you could imagine but now many of those are on the 360 now and many great games won't be on th PS3 but the 360 or 360/PC. Maybe it's just too early but so far it looks like their putting too much work into pushing blu ray and not just great games because it's showing so far IMO.
