I mean cmon people, is it really that hard to see? You can now own a PS3 for $399 WITH Spiderman 3 Blu-Ray edition, who awesome is that? And don't give me this no BC talk, everyone and their moms own a PS2. Plus upscaling PS2 games isn't all that great and important for some people, if you really care you can get the $499 80Gb version. For $50 extra dollars, you get Blu-Ray, Free online for LIFE, Wi-Fi, Memory Card Slots, touch sensitive buttons, a VERY reliable system, and a million other things in one.
The PS3 truly is the ONLY true "next-gen" system in my opinion, especially with its monster CELL Broadband Engine and Reality Synthesiser GPU chip. Not to forget it also has XDR ram under the hood ensuring maximum horsepower and low latencies. What other console lets you surf the web, install Linux, support playback of HIGH-DEFINITION movies in the form of Blu-Ray discs with unsurpassed sound and video quality, upload photos, music, and all other forms of multimedia. You can play games, connect to your PSP, video messaging and much much more.
The PS3 will obviously win this generation because it is the best out there with the most must-have games. Let's not forget all the games on the 360 worth purchasing are on the PC (Gears, Bioshock, soon to be Halo 3).
So do you want to spend your hard-earned money on a real next-gen system or on an unreliable system with no variety in it's gaming library and no exclusives?
