You'd see comparing sales in launch months PS3 is outselling 360. Mark you this is 360's strongest Region.

360 has already been outdone in Japan and EU is looking to follow suit.

The pent up demand for the PS3 was still there in January. Those that could not find the console in November or December made their purchases last month. The fanboy "Gotta have it" market is now saturated. Those who have been seeking to buy a PS3 now have their consoles. Now it will be up to, for lack of a better term, "normal" gamers to buy the console and keep sales rolling along for Sony.

The February sales figures will be interesting when they are released.

No way. The amount of Known sellers coming to PS3 should see it leading in APril. Oblivion = Known seller, Vf has its fanbase, R-bow 6 should sell, Motorstrom seems to get some love from those who play it. wHATS  360 has to counter that???

Remember the Survey that showed 8.9 Million US consumers would pay $500 - $600?  I do. The fact that that many aren't sold, and even more games coming I doubt the sales would drop.

to everyone who is all worried about the ps3 catchin up to the 360, why dont you go out and buy another one. whats the big deal just another $600. and then maybe you will feel like you get the best next gen console. but all of that doesnt even matter. is sony writing you a check if they sell more than 360. then it really doesnt matter just enjoy your ps3 and dont care if its selling more. i personally got a wii, and while it may not sell the most or have the best next gen graphics, none of that matters because i like it and enjoy using the controller. so whats the point to arguing over meaningless numbers
