Who cares? 360 has great games now, I hope the ps3 has them as well in the future. More gaming for me.

I bought a ps3 because sony has never let me down and supports their consoles for the long term not just a couple months or years like nintendo and ms. A fact proven by the ps2 support even though the ps3 is here the ps2 continues to sell hardware and games.

Sony is not looking to win a battle they are planning to win the war. All the devs love blu-ray and the standard hard drive for games. All gamers love the free online multi player. Sony is a proven gaming power housemuch like nintendo but with a much better track record. The only legit beef is with the price of the new hi def consoles 400 to 600 bucks is alot of cash but the ps3 does so much more the $600 seems cheap imo. I know sony must lower the price but the blue laser diode for the blu-ray is in mass production so that should happen this year I think. I like the 360 but too many of the games are on or will be on pc so that kinda kills the "exclusive" thing for me. As for the wii it's not worth my time as the graphics and sound are rubbish and lack of online games just puts the final nail in it's coffin.

how is that? wii has gc, nes, snes, genesis, tg16, n64. ps3 has ps2, ps1. if anything, 360 would be worst because it's only some xbox games through emulation (and some xbla games) though soon ps3's will be the same.

The reason PS2 is still suported is because it sold 100million units (or something like that), so sony makes money off of it still by selling games.

If PS3 doesn't pickup sales soon, you'll see how long they support a dead console. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to keep the PS2 going with a new controller and do something like nintendo did with the GC.

Sony could save themselves by making a better controller for the PS2 that has motion sensing (like wiii but better) and then sell it as an add-on. Plus come out with a new branded PS2 that has the remote built-in. So now casuals could just buy a new controller for the ps2 or buy a wii. getting a new controller would be a lot cheaper and they get to minimize the number of consoles in the living room to just 1.

The ps3's lineup and 360's lineup is very impressive and even most sheep know the Wii's lineup is lackluster.

All those features revolve around games. Live is mainly for games. Blue ray was to increase game's capacities as well as play blue ray movie. Home is for games. Sixaxis is for games. All those other feautures are extra and help with the game content. I'm sorry but that was a dumb statement.

Th3 360 cost more if you want to have the same options as the PS3 and Im pretty I'm pretty sure with lots of AA / AAA games on the shelf PS3 will be flying off shelves with or without price cuts and when Price cuts come is pretty much game over.
