Im pretty sure DF meant that Gears 3 and Halo 4 looked great in comparison to other console games like KZ3 or Uncharted 3. The best looking PC games have their own standards.

The FEAR games have always looked great and everything in the game blends together nicely and doesn't stand out but they are far from king

Funny this thread has come up as I finished F.E.A.R 3 the other day and was wondering why no one ever mentions it for its graphics cus they are awesome. people that havent played the PC version on highest settings dont know what they are talking about, those screens dont do it justice. I took some screens too and still cant do it justice. Its not graphics king but it looks better then what people are claiming.
