Convenience is the main reason consoles are marketed more than serious PC rigs.

all i have learned from this thread is that the tc thinks that most people are too lazy/stupid to use a pc, therefore consoles are better. i'm going to eat dirt off the ground because its easier and more convenient then regular food that all those lousy elitists eat! great logic.shadow_hosi

No, but I'm very sure you're more readily to cook some 2 minute frozen meal rather than try your hand at a home made Chicken and Avacado burger with plum sauce, using fresh chicken breast rather than frozen patties.

Computers make me feel so so insignificant....I love fixing things and making them work. But Computers every-time, I get error message saying (This so and so has performed a illegal operation and needs to be shut down) I try installing the latest patch and even ask a computer tech about it.....I feel like my comp is laughing at me *FIX ME!!! FIX ME!!!! LOL NUB*

I do like playing games on my PC don't get me wrong....but I still have not figure out how to make X-com work on my PC yet!!! PC gaming is a great way to play games as well. Just have Patience's.

And I'm sitting on a nice recliner and sometimes I doze off in it.

1. You can build a decent PC now for about as much as a PS3. Since PS3's are so lame, and PCs can do so much more, that's one hell of a deal, isnt it?
2. You dont exactly need a college degree to know where to put the hardware and how to instal an OS along with other software. Buy a few guides and maybe a "how to, for dummies." Its really not that hard.
3. Consoles I guess are more confortable, I'll give you that.
4. And you dont really need a huge TV to enjoy games. Our 36" TV from 5ft - 8ft looks the same size as our my 19" monitor from 1 1/2ft - 2 ft away. Also, monitors come in comparitive or much high resolutions than HDTVs and cost less.

Wrong, just higher resolutions but hardly anything that looks better than what the consoles are doing.

Because its clearly impossible to do your work on your TV. You don't HAVE to move it back and forth. I keep my PC hooked up to my HDTV in my room and browse the forums from my beanbag. Its not impossible, heck, its not even that hard to do.Vandalvideo
