Next gen isn't here despite what some people on here say. The Wii U is not a next gen console from what I have seen, it's just current gen with tablet controller. Next gen starts when there is a jump in tech.
People that say it's when a new console launches are wrong, by that logic if someone realesed a system with the specs of an N64 would you consider it next gen as well? No you wouldn't. The Wii U is not next gen, next gen will only start with PS4 and the next Xbox.

You don't know what next-gen means. It has nothing to do with hardware specs or software. Next Gen is just the start (launch) of the next generation of consoles to market. That's it. The Wii U is the start of the Next Gen of consoles. Period.
As for the Ouya, it'll have a cult following, I'm sure, but I don't see it even selling 1 million units. The games look like PS2 games. There are XBL games that cost $10-$15 that look better then what they are showing. The only good thing about the system is it's small and easy to travel with. For people who are looking to play old score type games from a couple gens back, this might be good for them.

I agree.
On topic, i've got my ps1 for graphcis like that :) !
You know that anybody can develop for PC for free too, right? And distribute it for free, right? Since it isn't forced to have a certain business model, it's more open too. And it has more power. The only advantage the ouya got is the lower price, and console easiness etc.Loegi
Yeah, thats what gave rise for some excellent PC exclusives afterall, like League of Legends.
OUYA does basically the same but adds console easiness (all games in one place where you can dnld or buy them, plug and play approach) and offers unified hardware and gamepad, as well as very easy to use dev tools together with inexpensive distribution channel. That all together is a LOT.
The pic of the second game. I forgot what its called but it does not work on tegra 3. Its not optimize and laggs all over the place.

Its NOVA 3. Seems to run smooth on HTC One X (Tegra 3)

[QUOTE="ShadowMoses900"]Wii U is far beyond current gen. Note that launch titles on ps3 and 360 looked pretty meh, and not much of a step up from the previous gen either. I firmly believe that ps4 and 720 are going to use Wii U as a target for what they have to reach for and make some minor hardware improvements on that, because there's no reason to go overboard, because nobody will buy them, and everyone will buy the far cheaper Wii U. Sony and m$ aren't stupid, they saw the success Wii had. Get ready to be underwhelmed by the numbers. As for the ouya, I don't want to play mobile "games" on my tv. I don't want to play them at all. Flop console, flop idea, nope. This mobile game market is awful because it's full of what are basically flash games. 5 minutes of fun, 0 value for money. There were launch 360 games that looked a lot better than the PS2/Xbox. The Wii U isn't a lot more powerful than current gen, 2-3x max. Sorry, but Microsoft has no plans to release a console as weak as the Wii U. Microsoft is building a machine that matches Epic's requirements to take full advantage of Unreal Engine 4.Next gen isn't here despite what some people on here say. LMFAO. Are people dumb enough to actually buy into the Ouya?mems_1224Some people payed 350$ for wii u, so yes.
Anyway to answer shadow moses. The WiiU is at least 15X-20X stronger then the Wii.And The Wii was 1.5X stronger then the Gamecube. The WiiU is also probably around 2X stronger and maybe more then the PS3 and 360 and can pull off things that the PS3 and 360 struggle with.
