[QUOTE="CubeJL"][QUOTE="Iyethar"][QUOTE="CubeJL"][QUOTE="Iyethar"][QUOTE="CubeJL"] It's really as simple as this: the Wii has absolutely nothing I'm intereted in playing. I'm sorry, I lied: SPM looks pretty cool. But I'm not willing to spend $300 to play it.
When the Wii is for real, I'll buy one.

Congratulations. You've realized that you're an individual with unique preferences. I'm sure this must be an exciting time for you.
Why so much hate? This isn't the gist of my post.
What hate? I'm providing affirmation of your expression of autonomy. What was the gist of your post, if not that?
The gist of my post is simply that sales do not amount to much when one turns on his Wii. That's it. No hate. No anger. No angst.
That's partially true but your post is a bit flawed.
1) We need to look at timeframes here the 360 had a jump, so granted the libraries better so I dont think well get an accurate picture of which consoles get the better library till 08
2) Sales do amount the more games being made, have you look at the number of game annoucements on the wii lately?
3) As far as reviews go I dont think GS reviews are more valid than my opinion. When I am playing a game only my opinions matter.
That's it. No hate. No anger. No angst.
Well, I can't very well refute you last point, but I can say that GS scores are the only standards by which we can compare the systems. People put creedence in their scores because knowing, playing, understanding, and rating video games is their full-time profession. They are the least-likely to be swayed by bias due to having access to all games, at any time.
That said, I agree with point 2.
Point 1, I did take timeframes into consideration here. Though, if you ask my opinion, it doesn't matter. No one is going to bother saying, "well the 360 might have more games, but it's not fair because they had a head start" at the cast regiser. MS's head start was calculated, and they are reaping the benefits of their preemptive entry.
