[QUOTE="REVENGEotSITH"][QUOTE="Eddie-Vedder"]PS3 launch games are just as good if not better then the 360 launch games, the whole waiting for games statement applies to both sony and MS, but around here lems have forgotten how long it took them to get a blockbuster game. And plz don´t come here with your 9.0 PDZ AAA crap.Eddie-Vedder
Well, by this time in the 360's existence, it had GRAW, COD2, PGR3, DOA4, Kameo, Burnout Revenge, Top Spin 2, Table Tennis (got an 8.5 here at GS) and Condemned. All scored above an 8.0 (there were several other AA titles, but I didn't include them - especially PD0). Compare that to Resistence, COD3, M:UA, VF5, Tekken, Virtua Tennis, Motorstorm, and Splinter Cell DA. Throw in the "common" games like Fight Night, Oblivion, and the sports games, it really comes down to preference as to which one had/has the better lineup at that point in their existence.
I'd take the 360 lineup since COD3, VT, and Splinter Cell DA are also on the 360. The bottom line is - comparing those two lists doesn't show a "clear" winner. That being said, the extra year that the 360 has over the PS3 has allowed it to deliver titles such as Dead Rising, GRAW2, Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas, and many others. THAT makes it the clear choice over the PS3.
I agree, but the clear choice thing, only if you were to think no more games would come out, personally I dont buy a console based on the games it has only, what´s coming is just as important and at this point in it´s lifespan, much more important.
Just trying to build a logical argument comparing the two systems' lineups at the same point in their lifecycle and at the same point in real-time (ie - now). If you want to buy a system on potential, to me, its a toss up. Too many multiplat games (DMC, Mercs 2, etc.) and too few exclusives (MGS, Halo 3, etc.). Plus, soo many of these exclusive games could end up being flops and some unknown games could come out of nowhere to rock.
