Cant wait for 2008. Cant wait to play some RPGS, King Story looks like the 'zack and wiki' of 2008 as well. Their will be more third party games in my library for 2008 than first.

Anyway out of those games. The ones I really interested in is:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl, ToS 2, Mario Kart Wii, and Disaster: Day of Crisis.

not sure if I missed it in the list but there are 2 Final Fantasy games on Wii this year..

Interesting to see how the downloadable one will be since there shouldn't be a million FMV cut scenes and overblown characters.. I'm hoping it's just pure solid oldschool gameplay with a simple interesting story like from back in the SNES days when the series was best. To this day, their simple games like FF6 or chronotrigger destroy every rpg on the ps2.

The thing is that this guy post a Thread of next Wii games, i know we are in SW and it will be a lot of differences, but the thing that really piss me off is that some guys were saying, this is crap, there is no single hardcore game there, this is... that is..., i mean please these are fine games but, and admit it, because they dont see a shooter with blow head ghrapics they dont care and they just start to flaming.

And i'm agree with you there is no such a thing as hardcores or casuals, there are only gamers. And I'm the kind of guy who enjoys SMG or GEOW or DOA or SSB or just a simple game of Worms with a friend.

While I do think that Exclusives are far more important then multi-plats because they do define a system, their are some good multiplats coming to the Wii.

King of Fighter's '98: Ultimate Match (new entry into the series; also on the PS2)

Luc Bernard's Etenity's Child (2D Platforming Goodness; also on the DS)

Baroque (a remake of a Saturn dungeon crawler; also on the PS2)

Possible Release

Sengoku Basara X (Creators of the Guilty Gear series)

Ugh... do you honestly think developers make crappy games for Nintendo consoles just because they're Nintendo consoles?

There were some definite gems back on the GCN, and even already a few on the Wii(Zack and Wiki, Trauma Center). The problem is that they don't sell. Because of this, developers are dissuaded from making more quality games.... instead focusing on the crappy low budget stuff.

If 3rd party games actually did sell well (as they do on other systems), developers would be encouraged to put more effort into their games. In order for this to happen though, people need to stop making the assumption that all third parties are automatically bad on the Wii.

And what makes you think all those titles are crappy? Have you actually bothered to read up on any of them, or do you just assume this because they're on the Wii, and they're not a part of more familiar franchises like Metal Gear or Call of Duty, that they must automatically be crap?

Either way, saying a Worms game is crap... that's too much. Worms is one of the classic tactics franchise, dating back over a decade. It's a formula that never seems to get old IMO... at least with the 2D versions like this.

i never said Fragile was not hardcore, - it's just we lackinfo right now to even qualify it in the list of upcoming GREAT games (i'm assuming at least an AA-calibre).

I doubt this game would even be released (in English)this year.

Yes, i have (PC). In fact, I enjoyed the gamevery much. I even have Worms Open Warfare2in my DS right now. Too bad it's not as great as it once used to be.
