The Wii is awesome...

I think it's soo incredible and awesome that now the Wii's library is filled with quality titles, people have somehow come to fall back to the pre-2005 argument of "teh kiddy". Brilliant!

That Narc game sucks, it was $20 new and is still a waste of money, it's nothing like the arcade version, it's another terrible GTA rip off with PS1 graphics. I had it on Xbox and still looks bad, so I traded it in.

I quite like the Wii. It's not perfect, but no console is. I don't care for most of the features my 360 gives me, nor the PS3's, even though I like all the consoles. The Wii is for straight up gaming, and I like the simplicity of it. Games like Galaxy, Paper Mario, Metroid, Lost Winds, Wario Land: Shake It, Brawl, Boom Blox, and others are fun and often charming. That's all that matters to me. I like graphics as much as anybody, but graphics aren't everything.

Didn't you use drugs as a powerup in that game?

Yes, you do topgunmv, sounds unique as it gives you powers like slowing down the game in a bullet time way and even help you identify who's packin, but some are gimmicky though.

Some people are of the belief that if it doesn't have buckets of blood and atleast ten playboys worth of nudity, it's for children. Some people are very insecure and can't play a more colorful game.

I think you are right about the Wii not being kiddy, because i think it is also aimed at adult homosexuals, especially because they love bright colors, like the rainbow flag that they have. You're right about the quality thing too. Harry Potter is a quality children's book that some adults also read. So, just because it's made for kids, doesn't mean that there is no quality. I applaud you on your post :)

For the most part you're right no changes have been made. But OoT is an exception because of the Islam related stuff. The VC verison of OoT is with all Islam related stuff taken out i.e. the Fire Temple Chant, or changed, i.e. the crescent moon and star.

Actually it would seem this thread has shown that even in Gamespot's SW the majority of people at least respect the Wii. The poll certainly supports that. I would say this thread accomplished more than what I expected it too when charizard created it.

Erm....In best selling of all time (not this generation) there are no 360 or PS3 games on the list.

If we're counting console only games there are 0 360 and PS3 games on the list. 1 PS1 (gran turismo) and 1 PS2 ( GTA SA) game on the list. Add in PC games and GT1 falls off the list, as does animal crossing wild world and a couple others. We now have WOW, Starcraft, SIMS 1, SIMS 2 on the list.

In total there would be 3 (discrediting wiisports due to bundle in) Wii games on the list, 4 PC, 1 PS2, 2 GBA, 5 DS, 2 GB, 2 GBC, 1 NES. Around there. With the three Wii games in the top 6 (Mario kart wii is the lowest with 18.36 million sold).

So yes, in closing, DS has the most, followed by PC, then wii. Wii has the number 1 of all time. 360 and PS3 games are absent from the list.
