I read the OP, looked to me like you're trying to make SW users more aware of the Wii's library, but do you really expect this to work? if that's not the point of this thread, then what is? I'm not saying this because it's about the Wii, if I saw a "why I love the PS3" or "why I love the 360" threads with just random pics of games I would make the exact same comment.

these threads are the worst, they have no point, and they don't give any decent subjects to argue about, now before you say "if you think my thread sucks then why post in it", I'm bored, I currently have nothing better to do so I'm doing this.

Why? Other developers manage to do that just fine on the Wii. Third party output on the Wii has long surpassed Nintendo both quantity AND quality-wise. If you want a new, fresh core IP on the Wii, play one. Done.

I did somehow miss No More Heroes; I've never played Zak and Wiki or Little King's Story, so I can't comment on rather or not they're on par with Nintendo's in-house creations; and it seems to me the general consensus was that Mad World was average at best.

Yep, excellent line up, dunno how anyone can say its bad.

Paper Mario was a terrible game, you spent an hour of just characters talking and hardly any gameplay at all, it was soooo boring.

They are. In fact, Little King's Story will be compared to Pikmin3 when that is released, and I daresay LKS will win this comparison. Those games are fairly similar, but Little King's Story has that cynical humour that is just so wrong and so great at the same time.

The other dude also missed DeBlob, BoomBlox and the Rabbids games as successfull and high-quality new 3rd party IPs on the Wii, and Wiiware stuff such as LostWinds, Nyxquest or Swords&Soldiers.

And there are Nintendo first-timers such as Dead Space:E and Dawn of Discovery.

The console combo to own is PS3/360. Sorry cows, but you can't argue with the ratings.KHAndAnime

TC you should add games like BWii and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn those two games are great.

The Wii has next to nothing that i find interesting. It is literally been sitting there, next to my TREY collecting dust.

Unless thekiddies want to have a game of Mario soccer, or whatever.

However, this one was amazing! This thread shows why I think the Wii is the best console for this generation.

A 2D platformer is a genre. So you're saying, because we are in the year 2009, we should eliminate that genre because it's old?

Okay, so in 10 years, there won't be racing games because they can be played on a handheld or console.

none of those games even remotely interest me.

I don't like Mario or Zelda games & I hate motion controls, therefore the Wii doesn't appeal to me.

I agree. That's pretty much the worst argument anyone could ever make. I want to force each and every one of them to play Punch-Out!! on the Wii so that they humiliate themselves by getting destroyed by a "kiddy game". I'm 21 and mature enough to know that appearance isn't everything.

No matter how much OP hypes for it, graphics are still last gen.

I like the Wii but being positive about it here probably isn't going to get you far. I myself enjoy the games. Whatever floats your boat I say.

There is not a single game on the Wii which i want to play. Thatsa pretty incredible job on Nintendo's part IMO. 360/PS3 i can find a bargain bin game that i will enjoy, but for the Wii its an exercise in futility.

I respect tthe wii as a gaming platform. I'm still not going to waste my effort discussing it here, that's a waste of time. Its teh internet, you can do what you want but ultimately sometimes you know when something just isn;t worth the effort.
