Awesome, I would love to play NMH and LKS, if they don't end up on PS3/360 whenever I get around to buying a Wii, then I'll just get them on that though.

The Wii already has more quality exclusives than the PS3 and X360 (combined) this year. :?

It may or may not happen. They said it was a potential strategy that they might consider in the future.

If this is true, pretty soon the term third party exclusive won't exist on consoles anymore. Still, I say wait until these games come to North America before making a decision to port them.

At any rate, I'll will still buy Little King Story, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Arc Rise Fantasia and No More Heroes 2.

MEGATON COMETH!!!

If this eve happens, I wonder what would the sheep have left to brag about?? Ever since the new motion sensing stuffs from Sony and MS were announced, I thought it was matter of time before the Wii exclusives were ported to those systems.

A big ouch for Nintendo. Now that it may consider coming over to the 360 & PS3, we can already tell that the graphics, etc. will be fantastic on both of them.

Its sad -- but most of those titles are really niche, it'll be hard to find sales on other platforms as well I believe.

I may alrady have all of them on my Wii already but I wouldnt mind buying them again if they were on another console. They''re all great games, especially Marumasa and Rune Factory.

I don't think that affect the Wii that much. They are not system sellers, and it's not that they stop being on the Wii.

Porting games from Wii to the HD consoles just reek of a bad idea just like porting games from the HD consoles to the Wii, there's just somethings that doesn't get translated very well and we are left with very weak products all around. That being said, I hope their ventures play out well though.

I could care less if Muramasa is being ported to PS3. VanillaWare was a Sony developer anyway, and the game dosen't even look that fun. It dosen't even have Motion sensing from what I've heard, and Wii games need that (Brawl I can make an exception).

The Wii can't lose any of its awesome exclusives because they are all first party titles. Third party developers put their best stuff on the other two consoles.

Marvelous needs to do what they have to do. I think that so long as they can get back into good financial position, I'm happy with this move. They deserve to do better considering how well garbage like Activision and Square Enix (yeah they are crap right now overall) can do releasing lazy games. This probably also means Muramasa in HD :P

Most will play best with the Wiimote due to the motion. The ones that don't though, I would enjoy playing in HD.

Spruce, do you actually know what Marvelous releases lol? The only game they have that even needs the wiimote is NMH :P Everything else is Classic Controller compatible.

If true that means suddenly all these games for the Wii that were kiddy and didn't matter will suddenly be amazing and great simply because they are appearing on more than just the Wii. Honestly though, isn't only one of those games listed above out in the States right now? Kinda early to be complaining about sales when they still have yet to arrive in the region with the biggest audience.

More gamers need too experience those great titles.

It's worth noting that Marvelous doesn't necessarily own the publishing rights to those games outside of Japan (Muramasa is by Ignition Entertainment and Rising Star Games, No More Heroes is by Ubisoft, and Little King's Story and Arc Rise Fantasia are co-published by Xseed)

The only one that might benefit from being in HD is Muramasa. That could be cool. I like their games, so I can't really complain about them going to other consoles. They need to do what they need to do.

That's idiotic to say if your being serious. Why Nintendo even make Mario games if that were true? But if you're being silly. HAHA yes, by word of mouth, what's in! "I got a Wii because it's cute."...though saddly, I can believe that.

Sometimes good games don't sell, even if you switch consoles. Take Okami for example. It had dissapointing sales on PS2, then the same on Wii.

It just means its not necessarily their call here. For example Muramasa almost ended up publisherless here, which would have sucked. If these games failed to reach sales expectations (which is what the articles suggests) then other publishers might not be so keen on localizing them. Not saying that's the case one way or another, but its a possibility.

No, but that is hardly eye roll worthy. The reasoning behind the thought is solid. That's why second rate publishers are picking up these games for the most part. (well besides NMH, since Ubi is actually big)
