I have the feeling that Muramasa won't be that good, and I've read some reviews from the imported version... LKS seems to be a better game...

From what Oath said, its shallow, repetitiveand not very challenging but its a quality game. Probably a 7.5 or an 8. Anyway, I can handle that so I'm picking it up.

I'd like to see MadWorld on PS3/360. Controls might be a bit better as well as graphics. And possibly, extra content :o

So did I actually. If any other interesting game comes along I may skip it but I feel bad letting it die since my god do I still want to experience it.

Yes. I think it'd be hard to compell the average consumer to pay full price for a 2D game. Regardless of it's quality.

-PuLse

What about BlazBlue?

We'll see how that one sells first...the average consumer could care less about an anime-inspired 2D fighter.

While bad news for Wii owners, this is great news for everyone else, that is of course until Marvelous Entertainment actually releases some games on the 360/PS3, they sell like crap (probably even worse they are on the Wii right now) and then of course with the higher production costs of 360/PS3 they end up going back to developing for Wii. That's what will probably happen imo, but if doesn't and Marvelous' games actually sell then good for them, doesn't really bother me since I have a PS3 :).

i doubt these will sell well on any console, since unique isn't really sell-out. ports of non-HD games named Little King's Story? ya we all know THAT will go down well with the halo fanboys

their marketing is the problem, not the wii... either way, like others noted early it is ironic that most of their games don't even use the wiimote, isn't a bad thing of course.

1)Problem is that these games won't sell on PS3 or 360. They are too niche for the PS3 and 360 audiences. If they bombed on Wii, they will bomb on the HD consoles. They're not shooters or sandbox.

chris3116
This is a pretty good case. I think these games would tank on the 360/Xbox.

NMH sucked on Wii and would suck even worse upon a HD console.

Actually if LKS and Muramasa go to PS3 then I'll have almost no reason to buy the Wii when the gen is over after all.

Another example of why Nintendo is bad for gaming, it doesn't help out all of the good third party devs anymore, I think that's even part of their "plan" (someone posted a couple weeks ago or so and edging out 3rd party devs was part of the plan). Mario

Woah these are the guys behind LKS, NMH and Muramasa: Demon Blade, that would be a massive loss for the Wii.

They might as well try and port them to get a few extra sales and make some small profit at least.

I could see them as big PSN/XBL games. That would minimise the cost of disk pressing and they won't need to worry about a publisher.

The potential buyers that have a 360 and/or PS3 are the same people that would buy games online.

seriously i doubt they will port any wii game , and even if they did the wii version would definatelly be cheaper by the time they bring the rehashes out and charge ps3 360 owners 60 dollars for each of the said games, ,

you can thank developing cost for that for the record though i doubt that gonna happen .. wii games have longer shelf life therefore gets sells not fast but . it gets them also you fail to mention outside japan . .

clearly they done well world wide, not gta like but got profit , im pretty sure also what makes you think sony or ms fans wanna play these games any how if they did im sure they would have bought a wii in the first place

You do know that they are thinking about bringing over these "rehashes" over to the other systems because they didn't sell enough on the Wii?

Not all games on the Wii has a longer shelf-life. Marvelous games are some of them that didn't.

Not sure how much I care really. It's Nintendo's own fault.

treedoor

why?:| Consumers just dont seem to buy a game that has no mario on it :s Thats consumers fault not nintendos
