My favorite game ever is Majora's Mask which came out in 2000. I've played every old Mario game, and I've played every Zelda game ever (besides the CDi ones.) Yeah I know nothing about old classics.
that's a casual game.Right... I'll take your word for it. What are "hardcore" games, in your opinion? Also, which was a casual game? Cause I thought Mario and zelda were pretty high up on the hardcore list.

Proof you're just a mere, sad troll who's sad that games today aren't twitched-based, nerd-only games like they used to be.
And Doom really started it. Quake started 3D online FPS.

It's shapign up to be one of the best RPG's of this gen. That's what everyone's obsession with it is.
Also it's a PC game first. Takes advantage of the advanced hardware on PC's (EVERY reviwer that has gotten their hands on the beta code has commented on how awesome it looks), and takes advantage of the input controls on PC.
So, top notch RPG, exploration, open world with no loading screens, loot, item creation, and PC centric game = PURE AWESOME-SAUCE.
So when did you start pc gaming? 2005? Real pc gamers dont give a **** about casual stuff like this.[QUOTE="goodstuffman44"] The people around here actually talk down games like quake ChubbyGuy40

Apparently Quake-type games are the only kind of games that take skill to learn, therefor are the only real games. Take note people.

Just because its harder to learn to play, doesn't make it better.

You guys do realise TC is the sad and infamous 360 fanboy? The one who has loads of alternate accounts! He keeps on getting baned, yet he comes back and creates a new topic and puts a twist on it. Thinking nobody will realise it's him ;) Btw, so still upset Fable 3 flopped? Or how about the game you were hyping, KUF II? You know, the one you said will look incredible on the 360! Oh thats right, its PC/PS3 only now. Ouch!ducati101

i was playing half life 1# online deathmatch on mplayer.com before cs mod even existed. cs is boring crouch shoot spray and pray die rinse repeat.that has been cleared up, there's a topic within a topic now.Since when is a video on a website an accurate representation of the final product of a game? Right...

Someone at gametrailers needs to upgrade their rig it seems because thats low to medium settings right there dude. Aah yes... Perfectly valid comparison, since TW2 totally belongs to the same genre of games as those three...
BTW, since you're doing us an amazing honour by giving us a few key informations from the future, would you mind telling us more about the new Nintendo console? Just curious.
(Oh, before you tell me to GTFO, keep in mind I'm over 30 and started gaming on an Atari 2600. One of my first PC games was A Train, by Maxis. My first FPS was Wolfenstein 3D)

lol button mashing? you cant even move and melee that's what i call crappy gameplay.but some people enjoy that. And there are some RPGs where you can. But the genre doesn't appeal to everyone, and I can see why, but many people, myself included, like the genre. Rpgs are more about character and/ or party building and using that to overcome challenging obstacles. Combat is just a part of it. Which is why RPGs tend to be very deep.
