The Witcher 2 doesn't look all that great.

So you've played Witcher 2, have you? Also, the combat in RPG's, especially on PC, tends to be very, very deep, and not just button mashing like you would see in a beat em up. i would think you have of all people would appreciate that.

but some people enjoy that. And there are some RPGs where you can. But the genre doesn't appeal to everyone, and I can see why, but many people, myself included, like the genre. Rpgs are more about character and/ or party building and using that to overcome challenging obstacles. Combat is just a part of it. Which is why RPGs tend to be very deep.

I've already explained to you how RPGs are deep; building a character/ party that is near unbeatable, finding the best equipment combination, and many have different branching paths. SkyWard, not even CD Projekt Red would engineer a game trailer that included all of the meshes and textures comprising the game's graphics. Of course they'll make it cheaper by using lower resolutions and so on.

I think I've seen more variety of enviornments in Witcher 2 trailers than my 30 hours of beating DA2 + most sidequests.

I don't think DA2 was a horrible game but it wasn't as good as Origins.

I also don't think DA2 looks horrible although it's nothing to right home about.

Skyward, you may of liked DA2, not a bad game, but why are you going against reality so much? even reviewers that loved DA2 are stating how much better Witcher 2 is....
