The Witcher 2 is best on PC.

Did anyone claim it would be better on the 360? I know PC has better graphics, but I don't have a PC capable of running the game... and since graphics don't determine how good a game is anyway it doesn't matter to me that I'll be playing on the 360.

The only reason I avoided the show is because most of the people recommending I watch it would also recommend eating a dog turd.

But I was bored about a month back and decided to check out the pilot. LOVED IT. One day I even watched 14 episodes back to back lol.

Yeah. I think a lot of people recently debated this on a forum created by the infamous Loosingends recently. I have the Witcher 2 on the PC and I've been using a Nvidia gt440 1gb gddr5, and it looks very good, although my hd6670 on my other PC runs it slightly better. Either way it looks amazing and much better than most console games. It shouldn't even really be a debate, seeing as how the PC is always evolving, while the console is restricted with it's hardware for the 5-10 year lifespan. I'm sure the consoles get optimized very efficiently, with developers having plenty of time getting familiar with the hardware, but after time there is only so much you can do with the hardware. These same graphics card makers provide the chips for Sony,Microsoft, and Nintendo, and once they partner with them in creating their chip, they go back to work trying to create something better. So Witcher 2 PC > consoles. I hope the Witcher 2 does turn out as good as it's looking so far for the 360 though, then I might purchase it also.

That's right where I am as well. I don't have cable and Netflix only has the first three seasons, so I'm stuck waiting for it to put out season 4. But damn I cannot wait much longer!

360 version has

• better controls
• medium pc settings (which look more cinematic imo)
• Ultra post processing effects.
• Definitive version as claimed by devs....

You can barely notice anything from your screencaptures. Texture quality and AA isn't discernable.

Also i dont see any jaggies at all, they are really minor on 360

No, you cannot see that at all. The picture is far too low a resolution, along with serious compression, meaning it's a huge muddy mess. It's not even remotely indicative of the game, so stop trying to use it as a comparison.

There are no jaggies because of the horribly low resolution and the incredible amount of compression. You would not be able to see any aliasing regardless of if it is there or not.
