I might have to buy the collectors edition, shame they don't offer a discount for those who own the first two like they do for the regular digital preorder.

I'm probably biased because I've always been The Witcher fan, and I don't like Skyrim, but i think this may be an RPG game of the decade.

past gen visuals,
its like ac blackflag, a past gen engine with added textures, details, resolution, but still past gen visuals,
no way near battlefield 3, crysis 2, kz shadowfall, ryse visuals
Its the only game up till now that it gives me the impression of a next-gen title ! Dont try to compare an OPEN WORLD RPG !!! with FPS ... Traditionally open world RPGs never were state of the art graphically compared to the "staged" FPS games ...
If witcher 3 plays like those trailers ... we talking about one of the best graphically games up till now and if this coming from an open world RPG , i repeat , an open world RPG !!! , thats an achivement whatever the hell engine they used!!

Letho was not too convincing, and part of the reason why is they dumped a lot of his character info at the end.
Jacques de Aldersberg was the better villain. At least he had the Alvin connection.
Ves wins best TW2 character on the scene alone with her trying to help the elven woman give birth if you help Roche take down the commandant of Floatsam.
Looks stunning indeed, love the environment of this game the most, so vivid and alive. Character models however still look low poly and plastic like but that's an open world game. Can't wait to see some gameplay walkthrough tho.
I was going to say visually it's not that much better than witcher 2 scene for scene (witcher 2 maxed looks insane still), but to have managed that level of polish with such an early build in an open world was enough of an accomplishment... then i watched the video.
I ordered the Collector's Edition this morning. Come February, I'll buy a top notch card to go with this. Until then, my 750Ti(Maxwell) has me covered. It looks like CD Projeckt Red has really outdone themselves with this one. The game is beautiful. Dem colors....

Grand Master Jacques de Aldersberg was an amazing character .
Letho sucked. Especially his English voice translation. The actual idea that you can just walk away from him and choose not to fight him is great. But the Texas accent and the riod rage appearance was textbook lazy villain. It's the kinda lame shit I'd expect from Metal Gear Solid. The Witcher 1 villain was far superior with an excellent story arc.

I agree that Letho was pretty much the least interesting part of the game. I don't think that decision to fight Letho at the end is great at all though. It shouldn't even be in the game. There is absolutely no reason to fight him at the end. None at all. After everything that happened and Letho helping you, it would be completely out of character for Geralt to fight him simply for revenge. He's doesn't seem like that type of person.
I'm guessing most of the stuff shown in the trailer is actually in-game. This looks freaking incredible.

Man it's releasing so long from now for me to get hyped but i still am for some reason, damn them. Hope the combat is strong from the get go and doesn't need a patch/mod later on to "fix".
