I think it is safe to say that there's no valid reason to own a xbone. It barely has any interesting exclusives and they have the worst versions of all games. This machine is a waste of money, if any the WiiU should be crushing it in sales.

What is this so called P2M? I would love to give my insight.

Well it's refreshing that even you can admit to date PS4 has the best multi plats and Xbone needs to wait for Sdk's, cloud(lol) and dropping of kinect(lol) powar to compete with the juggernaut SONY and the illustrious PS4.

People may not want very overly sharpened vivid textures either or borked RGBs, most agree, but I guess it's a matter of opinion. A lot of cases the PS4 has proven to have the better looking textures, especially since a lot of time the time the PS4's general/overall IQ resembles more the PC version of the game than the Xbone does. Keep fighting the good fight with that gap closure though.

What sucks is that consoles are holding back PC games because of parity.

Today's mid-range PCs are pushing 4 TFLOPS easy.

The PS4 is pushing 1.81 TFLOPS, as the most powerful Next-Gen console, with the XB1 and WiiU trailing.

Steam Machines probably won't get any exclusives to push their hardware either - they'll all be PC ports.

1080p and MAYBE 60FPS are here to stay for another decade me thinks...

Thread title is misleading as usual. Nowhere in the article did "Cd Prodjekt" themselves say that it's running at 1080p on PS4. "As expected, on PlayStation 4 Witcher 3 outputs at 1080p resolution." - was not a quote from the Devs. It was an assumption from the article writer.

Teixeria: Well, obviously the specs mean that there will be differences in what is released. With that said, we are absolutely trying to push for the best experience possible on each of the platforms. Certainly with PC, you can put a massive graphics card in there and push the settings to the max, of course - who doesn't love that?

You're kidding right? In Crysis 3, there's tons of mssing textures everywhere, weaker particle effects like smoke during explosions, lighting and much more .

In The Witcher 3, there's again weaker textures, blander colors, etc, all the way down to missing npc's in the actual world. Just go watch proper comparsions on Youtube.

What do you even think a better version is? Do you excpect the max version to have new maps or something. The differences between the PS4 and Xbox are even smaller in those 2. Ofcourse, those are games that push PC hardware despite Crysis 3 having been limited to last gen consoles.

Even if CDPR doesn't give a **** out PC anymore (don't believe it), it wouldn't matter anyway because like always the game will still be better on PC. The maxed out ultra version will even have added furr on animals as stated. In fact, i'm willing to bet that towns will be far less populated on consoles. And as always, if one doesn't care about all this stuff, 60fps awaits. Ups, only 30 on consoles. No keyboard and mouse options. No choice.

EDIT: Regarding Crysis 1, that's what Star Citizen is trying to be for this time.

If a version of a game on PC has differences that, even on shitty compressed Youtube videos, you can easily spot the differences, that's what it's about. Crysis 1 was made from the ground up to look heads above anything for it's time. The Witcher was not. It looked amazing, but not on the level of what Crysis was. Which is fine. It looked amazing, and if CDPR delievers, TW3 will stand above other games too. But not that long ofcourse.

What about exclusives? They wont be held back by consoles. You could just stick to PC exclusives if your that bitter about it. But why limit yourself?

It should also use Nvidia's fur tech and some other effects showed on that leaked video months ago.

And it was confirmed that E3 footage was running on XO, no wonder why it looked so bad
