The Witcher VS Dragon Age.

I hated Dragon Age 2 while I love both TW1 and TW2, so the Witcher is the obvious and rightful winner.

I find them just about equally mediocre. DA:O would've been great if BioWare had slashed about 60 hours worth of filler, TW1 is just a clusterf*ck of wonky combat and turrible writing, DA2 had some nice ideas about modernizing and streamlining the WRPG but forgot to build a compelling gameworld around them, and TW2 had some nice (if still a little weird) combat and atmospheric tones but again sh*t the bed in the writing department.

I guess if I had to choose I'd give Dragon Age the nod because it avoids being offensively bad the way The Witcher can be at times, but that ain't exactly a ringing endorsement. 

Dragon Age origin was such a bore and DA2 isn't really that much better. I'll take the Witcher easily.

Dragon Age is all kinds of terrible. The Witcher wins by default.

If you'd like to go back to how it started. I literally used him as an example of people doing this. I didn't go off on him or anything. I explained to him why iI used him as an example after he complained that I did , and sat back as he tried to attack me over little things like grammar in response. Simple as that.

Dragon Age > Witcher 1 = Dragon Age 2 > Witcher 2

Well I hate DA2 but I looooove DA1 and I wasn't really impressed with Witcher 2 or 1. In fact I hate Witcher 1 almost as much as DA2.

Dragon Age wins.

Ohhh this is tough. Honestly I love both. It did take me a while to get into the first Witcher though, but once I did it was a good game. Overall I would probobly give the edge to dragon age since it uses turnbased combat.

Also, I also liked Dragon Age II as well, the only shortcoming was the reused environments, but everything else was fine. The combat was the same but just speed up slightly. Also liked talking Hawk, but maybe it's because I usually leave it the default character, did the same in Mass Effect. Game still lasted me around 40 hours, sure it was shorter but I still enjoyed it.

I haven't played either! Though I did get the Witcher the other day, though. I'll probably give it a shot after I play through some of the Fallout series.PannicAtack

The original Witcher is solid. Very enjoyable. Combat seems to be hit or miss with a lot of people, though.
