Is it though? Most of the "exclusives" can be played on a low level to mid PC at better performance and community with mods so who cares. I dont care anymore about halo, gears, and forza and i cant stand the xbone controller so why would i buy one? Halo 5 bombed and I have a 360 thats "100 percent backwards compatable". Ps4 has better performance, a near perfect controller, more games, VR on the way, absolutely killer exclusives lineup not on xbox like bloodborne, sf5, littlebigplanet, ratchet and clank, uncharted collection and 4, last of us, heavy rain and beyond two souls, infamous, until dawn, journey, resogun, and more with heavy hitters on the way like dreams, no man sky, horizon zero dawn god of war 4, probably another last of us, gran turismo, and detroit human. I can play all of these with VR and shareplay games so i can play with friends to free even if i dont own them. And xbone needs all the updates it can get to fix its weaker power, ugly bulky size, and confusing as hell menus. Face it lems, microsoft shot themselves in the foot almost three years ago and its all over. Maybe next gen

That exclusive mode makes more revenue yearly than every uncharted game. Besides you cannot compare ultimate team players with ordinary fifa players, you need to invest too much time and money in it.

Besides this isn't about fifa ultimate team, there are tons of other games that are way better than pixcharted.

I'm enjoying my X1 this gen. I wish I could play Bloodborne, Ratchet and Clank, and Uncharted 4, but still plenty of games.

I like your thinking, I own an X1 myself. I simple prefer SONY's first party over MS's, especially Uncharted. The PS4 kept the exclusives coming all the way through 2013 when a new console was launching and great games like The Puppeteer and Dragons Crw

Not to mention what MS did in 2009 with core games when they focused on Kinect. I dont or at the time didn't give a shit about RROD either.

PS4 has stronger hardware

PS4 has best version of multi plats 99% of time

Almost all my online friends went with PS4 so its fun to play MP games with them.

PS4 is now x86 PC architecture, which is good overall, but not so much for BC, but I kept both my 360 and PS3 to play gen 7 games.

I still love the X1 though and Sunset Overdrive was my personal GOTY in 2014. Played the last TR and loved it and I just beat Quantum Break.

My Live gamer score is higher than some hardcore lems. :P

I thought you couldn't own Xbox one. Remember how Microsoft said how you can enjoy Xbox one with your younger brother? You have to share the console but you do not own it.

It's going to be the first major console I haven't owned since I started gaming on the Atari 2600. And it's not tough to sell me on a console, a single must-play exclusive will usually do it.

I can't find a single reason to buy the Xbone. It's not even a money thing, if you gave me one for free I would have no reason to hook it up.

Cool that you get so much enjoyment out of it, but declaring it the best console this gen is a stretch, even if the other two consoles also suck.

I loved Halo and especially Halo 2 multiplayer. Halo 3 was cool too, but I only dabbled in it for a bit. I had my fill of the series at that point (and to be honest I've had my fill of FPS games in general).

Liked Gears 1, never really wanted more after that. The Forza games were excellent and I imagine they still are, but no, not interested anymore. Rare Replay is collection of games that I already have access to, but don't even feel compelled to replay.

Of course it's all opinion, I don't care for that stuff, but for someone else that stuff could be a gold mine.

Upcoming exclusives that I would be interested are Scalebound and maybe ReCore. But from what I understand, I'll be able to scoop those up on the PC anyways, correct?

And yes, I'd take the WiiU haha. It's not anything against the Xbone though, I'd even take the WiiU over the PS4 at the moment.

Reason being is that I do most of my gaming on PC. That makes both the PS4 and the Xbone redundant to me. I can play most of the games on those consoles in better form. The WiiU has plenty of good titles that I can't play on my PC, so that makes it the ultimate side bitch.... for now. I believe the PS4 will eclipse the WiiU as my side bitch platform since the WiiU is on its way out and the PS4 still has more games to come.

In reality, based on their own merits, I see the consoles like this:

- PS4 > Xbone >>>> WiiU.

But since I game on a PC and I only look to consoles for good exclusive content, my personal view is this:

- WiiU >>> PS4 > Xbone.

In its 14/15 year history, I never owned any Xbox system. =(

The original Xbox was fucking great. Significant differences in multiplat titles (night and day differences, not the little shit we bicker about these days), some excellent exclusives, some PC titles that would usually never see the light of day on consoles, and the best online experience you could get on a console by far.

Owning all consoles in gen 6 was worth it, they all brought some great things to the table.

The 360 was the best way to experience the first half of last gen and it had some good exclusives. All there is to it really. But it seems like MS got lazy just when Sony was turning up the heat.

@ConanTheStoner: When I asked about Wii U and X1 I meant if you had no access to PC as well. Sorry, I should have clarified. But luckily you answered my question anyway lol. I figured you'd pick X1 over Wii U on their own merits because of all the 3rd party games that are non existent on Wii U. Glad you enjoyed all the franchises before. And Recore is coming to PC yes, Scalebound is not confirmed for PC, just X1 as of now. Who knows for the future though. And yeah like I said I can easily how someone with a gaming PC would have no interest in the X1. I just know I would for Halo, Forza, and Rare Replay alone.

Yeah dude, gaming on just an Xbone and nothing else would still be gaming. I'd still have access to a lot of variety and a lot of big titles. Gaming on just the WiiU would be a nightmare, I'd probably just quit gaming altogether lol.

The bone has been getting some good free games for live gold and the bc is getting better. So it's a good value IMO. Yes we all know the ps4 is stronger and has Naughty Gods but calling the X1 useless is moronic. If you bought both and bought no games the X! would give good free games way more often than the ps4.

The online is also better and it's a better multimedia box. So it's all a matter of choice. Now I will have to see what the ps4 neo offers but if the info is right then the x1 is done.

It just doesn't effect me since I do not have a PC. And yeah being able to play Halo 2's multiplayer on the MCC was pretty awesome. If we are looking at the objective facts, the PS4 has more games, more power, better indies support, more exclusive games, a better UI and muuuuuch faster install times. These are facts. Does that mean the Bone is bad? No, in fact I think Microsoft has done a great job bringing the Bone to were it is today. It was a PR clusterduck. People who say the Bone is not worth owning are allowed to voice their opinion. I feel that most are jaded though.

Unless you own a higher end PC you cannot run certain games like Quantum Break(if you want to play that). I'm was playing them pretty equally till Dark Souls 3 game out. Now my bone is looking at me like: "You ever going the finish the Wolf Among Us?" One of these days Mr. Bone....one of these days....

@Phreek300: Yeah fanboys in general are just awful. You gotta remember though, even though PS4 has more games it doesn't mean it has better quality ones. The only exclusives I want to play on PS4 are R&C, and now Uncharted 4. Bloodborne and the souls games are not my cup of tea. More power? Yep. Just not a lot more poweful. Best Indie support? Perhaps but again it comes to the Indies quality, and I'd hate to miss on Ori, Superhot, Super Time Force, and of course one of my most hyped game cuphead. More exclusives? Yes, Just as I stated, not many for me, a better UI is not a fact, and I actually think the X1s is better. To each his own though. And faster install times is right. I have no problem if people prefer PS4 though. I just think it feels..... Empty i guess. Lack of some games and lack of external hard drive support are big to me.
