The difference is that the PS1 and PS2 sold 100 and 120 million+ respectively.

Microsoft has an equal chance of pulling out if Sony does.

I agree with Thompson with Halo being much better than Halo 2.

But I have to admit I wouldn't be so confident with FF13, look at FF 10-2, 11, 12, the last 3 games have been crap.

MGS for the ps is still one of the best games ever made, but I really can't say that about the second what was hugely disappointing, the 3rd MGS is much better but still not in the league of the first.

Anyway you should seriously be looking in buying a 360, I know you might feel loyal with the sony brand, but the 360 is Cleary the better gaming console right now, it has a great libary and still has great looking games coming out soon, why do you guys keep having to wait? that's all I hear from you, enjoy yourselves now.

I can get rumble now. Same time Call of Duty 4 comes out, Dualshock 3 is released and I can import it.

But yeah. No achievements is going to really put a damper on playing Call of Duty 4. It'll be less of a game without numbers on a gamercard or trophies.

I like the same games I liked a couple of years ago if they are good...and I like new games if they are good. I like to play good games, period. I've played every AAA title for the 360 (except for OB and Guitar Hero) and I have enjoyed every single one of those games immensley. I have a hard time believing that you would not enjoy any of those games. Sorry, I just don't buy it.

Not anymore, gamerankings is now king. How many AAA titles does the 360 have there? 9 and some are multiplats.

Yeah, it's definitely the best next-gen console atm. I think a few titles on Gamespot were reviewed oddly (PDZ) but generally speaking, the lineup is strong.

But 360's big year was this year. Is it bigger than the PS3 or Wii in terms of future lineup? I personally don't think so, but there's no denying it has a good lineup.

Why was it a bad game?! You have a very different opinion. Halo 1 hooked millions with it's awesome gameplay. It had great level design, and just felt epic. Boarding a capital ship, going to an island, snow environments, swamps, deserts. Halo 2 began the greatness of console online gaming and kept hundreds of thousands hooked for years. Including me. Halo 3 then released and perfected some of the problems with halo 2, while adding a fun campaign, forge (editing maps, me love for custom games), and theatre (how i got my sig lol). I don't believe you have ever played a halo game before.

I played a lot of Halo 1. A lot of Halo 2. A little bit of Halo 3.

I abhor 2 and 3. They just didn't feel as fun as the first.

Go ahead and ask me something only someone who's played through all of Halo 1 or 2 would know.

Gee. You have to get a Dualshock 3 because it's not standard. Well I guess it's clearly worse to buy an extra controller for your system than to have to seperately buy WiFi, a harddrive and an HD-DVD player for a 275GBP additional cost over the regular unit.

Speaking of which, I was never talking about what you personally spent on your Xbox. I've been talking about the price of the accessories along with a 360. Good job on that one.

To me they are useless, i havent spent a penny on crap i dont need. You are the one constantly saying im buying stuff that ive never even dreamed off. Whos the ones whos easling? OFfcourse, rumble is an important part of immersion, i sure dont have to pay extra for something i ACTUALLY want unlike Wi-Fi as you like to keep mentioning;) But offcourse, a £20 third-party adapter doesnt break the bank:lol:
