They're all well and good,but exclusives ain't diggin Sony out of last place

Every day there are multiple threads from cows about how teh PS3 has so many exclusives which are to be released on Sony's console this year.adding to the ones that have been released in the last few months

But repeatedly boring everyone with this info isn't enough,they also feel the need to attack the 360 over its lack of exclusives so far this year.(Their logic being because MS don't announce games 3 and 4 years in advance like Sony,their must be no 360 exclusives this year).

So my point being,despite supposedly edging out the 360 last year in exclusives (according to GS :roll: ),and despite having multiple 1st/2nd party games being released this year,the PS3 is still way out in last place.And not one of these big exclusive this year will be a system seller-you can quote me on that.

Don't you think it must be really dishearting for Sony to be pumping tens of millions of dollars in to productions that sell modestly compared to other big blockbusters and rarely boost the PS3's flagging sales,.(KZ2 being a good example.)

Gamers continue to favour the 360.Long may it last.

Anyways, if Killzone 2, a personal favorite, can't sell too hot, then God of War 3 is their last "big" chance, seeing as LBP and the winter line up didn't sell many millions

Well, thats all great and all. but seeing how i dont work for microsoft, i dont care if the xbox is beating the ps3. I care about the games, and ps3 seems to be dishing them out and it looks like it'll keep it up. Cant say the same for 360 though.

Its sad really, that all the lemmings have to say against all of the sony games is that microsoft have sold more consoles than they have. hey tc, what good games are you looking forward to this year? besides ODST (which is an expansion...)

Why do people keep thinking that Killzone 2 and GoW3 are the major console sellers for the PS3? When in fact it's GT 5. GT is Sony's biggest franchise and is bigger than halo.

Its hard to justify a 400-500 console with any game in a recession..............especially when both competitors are cheaper and more popular.

Bearing in mind the huge amounts of cash that PS3 has cost them plus the fact that out of the big 3, Sony are the only ones splashing out big on in-house development..

Remember we're in ressesion,profit margins are tighter than ever,don't expect a price drop anytime soon imo.

Id rather have good games than the best sales, so long as sony doesnt go out of business ill take 3rd place

The DC has been on full throtle since KZ2, I predict it'll last a very very long time too :P Don't worry lemmings games suck, the NPD at the end of the month is all you need.

The way the economy is and the way Sony is losing huge quantities of money with the PS3,I wouldn't be suprised if SCE seriously slimmed their operations this gen.Next gen who knows?

I wish the 360 fanboys knew how bad the 360 would be today, if it hadn't had that year head start. The PS3 is doing surprisingly well considering the later entrance to the market with such fewer library of good games. Now look at them. I smell desperation. BTW, the 360 should be doing a lot better considering the advantages, but it isn't. Slambo86

You do realize titles especially multiplat are not far behind from what the 360 is selling at all, that's nothing to brag about with a years head start, and that PSn has worked it's way up to be at least on par with Live.

Well i don care if ps3 is in last place. I only care about their games, and their exclusives are the best out imo. I like the fact that sony doesnt just have any game made on its console....ahem wii. At least sony tries its best for the consumers imo. In japan though sony is outselling due to there exclusives. The ps3 is picking up steam, and im surprised in this kind of economy. Microsoft well have a bad year this year, due to as of now no major exclusives, as sony starts to push its consoles out the door.ez_moneymaker

If Sony was the #1 dog yet again for a 3rd gen running then i'm sure it would have all the exclusives it had on the the 2 previous generations as why would companies build games for 360 or Wii as it costs money? They wouldnt, They'd just keep everything exclusive on the Sony as games cost money to develop.

According the charts, the 360 is slightly ahead in AAAE+ exclusives, though depending on how we count AAAAE's- it's more or less equal.

Good point, I don't think Sony had any system sellers so far, except for blu ray.
