They're all well and good,but exclusives ain't diggin Sony out of last place

More damage control from lemmings as according to them PS3 was never set to get any games.

PS3 also has a lot of nice exclusives this year and as well as great multiplats.

All the PS3 needs is a pricecut and watch sales will improve dramatically.

I believe GT5 has the best chance to sell PS3's since it is the highest selling Sony game for the PS1 and the PS2, if this link is telling the truth

if metal gear solid 4 is what people consider last place then i wonder what sort of heaven first place must be...

Pricecut or not, the PS3 offers a better value at $400 than the all the other 360 SKUs. No wonder MS is dropping the Elite SKU because at $400 it is a blant ripoff when you compare it to the PS3 which does a heck of alot more.

MS wants to keep the Premium and the Arcade to they can say look we are selling so much more than PS3, but in reality it is just cheaper. People just look at the price tag. Not to mention there are some chaps out there who will willingly buy an Arcade after their other 360 had hardware problems. I mean it is cheap right and all you do is put the hard drive in it.

If anything MS should drop the Arcade and Premium and see how well the Elite fares against the PS3.

But all that does not matter to me, as I know I am getting some good PS3 exclusives this year and all my multiplats will be PS3 bound.

Games >>> sales. The PS3 has the edge in the more important area. As long as Microsoft are doing well, it doesn't seem to matter to you guys that the 360's lineup is looking weak at the moment. I'll continue playing both consoles, you have fun with your 2009 lineup which I'm sure will improve soon. GDC was a flop so onwards to E3- Just Wait!Floppy_Jim

I just find it funny that despite all these "AAA exclusives" heading to Sony's console plus the ones that have been released recently,the PS3 is still a distant 3rd.

I mean KZ2,Sony's supposed killer-app,has experienced modest sales at best when compared to the likes of GeoW or Halo 3.

Must be pretty obvious to all but the most delusional cow that Sony just isn't giving the general public what they want.I mean none of their exclusives so far have been system sellers,and I don't hold out much hope for the likes of Infamous or Uncharted 2 on that front.

Do you find it funny that even though 360 has better games than Wii, Wii is outselling it by alot? I'm sure you do, since sales captivate you so much.

I'm confused, people are saying that the 360 Lineup for this year is not good enough yet that shouldn't really be all that is counted considering there is a huge back catalouge of games on the 360 and PS3 which all count towards the final total which really should put the 360 ahead of the PS3. But I guess its all down to personal opinion.

By my count it's KZ2, Disgaea 3, Socom vs Halo Wars, Ninja Blade and Race PRO. 3 each. I live in the EU where SO4 isn't releasing until June and Stoked isn't releasing here at all. And Socom has only just come out. So unless I've missed anything, they've had an equal amount this year.

And I couldn't only play AAAA games, MGS 4 & GTA 4 would eventually get boring. I'm quite enjoying the 6.5 Halo Wars :D

Every day there are multiple threads from cows about how teh PS3 has so many exclusives which are to be released on Sony's console this year.adding to the ones that have been released in the last few months

But repeatedly boring everyone with this info isn't enough,they also feel the need to attack the 360 over its lack of exclusives so far this year.(Their logic being because MS don't announce games 3 and 4 years in advance like Sony,their must be no 360 exclusives this year).

So my point being,despite supposedly edging out the 360 last year in exclusives (according to GS :roll: ),and despite having multiple 1st/2nd party games being released this year,the PS3 is still way out in last place.And not one of these big exclusive this year will be a system seller-you can quote me on that.

Don't you think it must be really dishearting for Sony to be pumping tens of millions of dollars in to productions that sell modestly compared to other big blockbusters and rarely boost the PS3's flagging sales,.(KZ2 being a good example.)

Gamers continue to favour the 360.Long may it last.

It's not only gamespot:| Everyone knew PS3 outperformed 360 last year. PS3 is also the console that actually has exclusives announced.

Your argument would probably hold up if you only consider American sales. Worldwide PS3 is closing the gap, and that's no question.
