This gen is almost over, who's still on their first system(s) ??

I'm still using my Original Wii I got on November 19, 2006; I didn't purchase a PS3 until 2010 but I'm still on my first PS3. I also didn't get a DS until I got a launch DSi.

I had a 360 but it was my brothers he purchased it November 18, 2006 and he had to get it repaired once and now it doesn't work; It does but you can't put games into the systems since the disc tray is locked shut.

I got a launch Wii, launch 360, and a BC PS3 when they cut it to $500 during E3. All three have broken lol. 

Well, my gaming pc from 2007 is still working and is being used as a multimedia Pc, still on 1st Wii bought in 2008, my xbox bought in 2008 died in 2010, PS3 is still working just fine since 2009. Now as for my brother he is on his 6th xbox 360 since 2005, replacement/rebuy, (three replacements with orginial 360 and bought slim and has had two repairs(dvd drive) ). and most of friends are on their 3-4 xbox also.

Second PS3 (60gig launch console's BR drive died out of warranty, have a 250gig Slim now).

I'm on my 3rd PS3 since they all had YLOD, original Xbox 360 and a PC with 1 year old guts.

I rarely play my consoles since my PC is getting 95% of usage. I packed my 360 in its box since I have no intention of playing it anymore. I do still have PS3 in my setup; it's a better system than the 360.

I got two 360s. A core model in 2005 (at launch), and an arcade model in 2008 which i still use.

I still got my Nintendo DS.

Frankly, I don't game as much as I use to. I'm almost tempted to just go the Handheld/PC gaming route, and hold on to my PS3 for movie watching and PS1 Classics.

We have:

1. The original Wii

2. The original DS

3. My PSP1000

That's it though. My 160Gb PS3 was one of the last fat PS3 models. My original dualcore AMD Athlon64 X2 4200+ PC died in 2009 (victim of the Capacitor Plague) which is why I have my current PC from 2009.

Strangely enough, I still have my PC from 2001 that still works. It just needs a new case.

I have had 5 360's 2 RROD's. But I have had 2 for a couple of years til I got rid of one about a month ago.

I have had 4 PS3's. One would not read dics, one would not work at all, and I recently switched to a Super Slim.

I had 2 Wii's. One I "fixed: just so it would get some use. Had a Wii U as well, never again.

So who's still playing on their original Xbox 360 (20GB), PS3 (20/60 GB), Wii, and PC parts (around 2005-2006)?

I'm still playing on my first Wii! Bought it January of 2007.

Still have my launch PS3. My Wii I bought in 2009-2010. I have a 360S, so that's not the original.

My 360 broke around late '06, never bought one again and focused solely on PC gaming. 

As of '08, i've owned a Wii, and a ton of other older consoles. Still have that little Wii, but i rarely play on it..  

A few days ago i picked up a original Xbox, and am currently collecting some of its hidden gems. 

Still got my 2007 PS3, i play PS2 games on it from time to time too

nope ive had all three go out on me... micro, nintendo, sony...

I'm actually playing more NES and N64 games right now. I'm exhausted with current gen. I'm just waiting for the PS4.

I got a Wii at launch but had to replace it towards the end of the summer of 2010.

I bought my PS3 towards the end of the summer of 2010 and still have it.

I'm still using my PS3s 20gb and a 60GB that have had the HDDs upgraded to 500GB. I did have an 80GB go out on me that I bought later than the first 2. 

I'm currently playing on a 250gb xbox that I got just over a year ago. My brother went through 3 xbox 360's.MikeLirette

I went through 1 360 and E-bayed the replacement  and my brother in law went through 5 360s. 

We got the wii in early 2007. Something went wrong with the disc reader and nintendo replaced it for free in like 2009 or 2010 I think. So none of our systems are the original ones.

I still have both my 2006 launch PS3 and 2006 launch Wii, but both my launch 2005 360s are done. I now have two 360 slims. I had 5 RROD and a few E74 problems this entire gen (2005-2012) and I just ponied up for new machines. I also got the PS3 slim and PS3 super slim for different rooms/Blu-Ray.LAN.

My first Wii and PS3(which is a slim) are both intact so far :)

I have my first wii, although I don't use it anymore, and my first 360, which came second.

We're on our second Xbox 360.  During the last gen we had to purchase a second Xbox after the first one failed as well.  These are the only consoles we have had to replace due to failures.  Our PS2, Wii, and PS3 are going strong.  Therefore, Microsoft has two strikes against them from our point of view.

I occasionally only turn my Wii on to play Gamecube games.

All of my Wii games have upgraded to being played on a WiiU now.
