Wow you are totally misinformed. The PC has been its lead platform for ever. Nvidia even used alan wake as a demo to show off there new graphics cards. Intel used thetornado in the alan wake to show off there what a quad core could do.wow some people need to do some research before opening their mouth.

Yes its published by Microsoft and that demo was from the PC version, although I am sure it will be very similar on the 360, since thats where it will sell most.

When I clicked on that link and then scrolled down I noticed one of the viewers comments was "too bad it wont look like that on 360". So im wondering how big of a difference the graphics will be between the PC and 360 versions. Is there any comparison screens of both versions or is it too early?

Yeah um open world like crysis with insane physics like crysis and wih awesome graphics to boot. Im sorry but mass effect doesnt compare to this game.

Duh. That's the reason it looks so damned good. High end Quad-core and dual GPUs are why it looks so damned good. Won't look even close to that on 360 and will likely be dumbed downed and ruined too.

Exactly, I dont't know why lemmings are hyping Alan Wake, as it will look nothing like that on 360. I'm thinking the PC min reqs will be a similar to the specs of the 360.

I remember seeing a couple of shots of the 360 version a long time ago. It was a picture of a truck at a service station. I have no clue what is going on with this game. The Remedy website says they are workiing on it and I dug around the all but dead forums and apparently Remedy's stance is they aren't going to show anything more until it is ready to release which I find...perplexing but it explains the complete lack of updates.

It has a lot of potential, but so did Crysis.

I also doubt that the game will run that well and look that good on an XBOX 360. Last time I checked, the 360 did not have an overclocked 4 core 3.73GHz CPU.

Cuz theres nothing else on PC that really entices me to upgrade, years ago it had a bunch of games I liked and my comp. was upgraded so i got to play them all, but now it feels like its just flooded with a bunch of strategy-like games or world of warcraft stuff (minus crysis which i'd love to try out), PC's the best for FPS but everything else I usually play on consoles (except both Max Payne's), either way im upgrading my PC when i move out but i'd rather buy a 360 for 1 game then upgrade my PC for 1 game, thats why I said unless Mass Effect goes to PC then i'll upgrade cuz i think its worth it for both games.

But overall I guess you're right, Im better off just upgrading but I wanna move out first before I do so it all depends on when Alan Wake comes out I guess.

i really think the PC gfx argument is silly. sure, it will look better on the PC. that much better? nah...compare Bioshock or COD4. there's really not a night and day difference.

that game was running on a quad core processor at 3.7 ghz there is no way it will look like that on a console
