Just figured this would be a rather interesting thread to have.
Anyway, this is how long it has been since each system this generation had an exclusive game that scored a 9 or above on Gamespot. Any game that is, or was, available on any other system, is not counted as an exclusive for the purposes of this discussion:
- PlayStation 4: 11 months, 12 days (Bloodborne)
- Xbox One: 2 years, 2 months, 20 days (Forza Motorsport 5)
- Wii U: 5 months, 6 days (Super Mario Maker)
- PC: 10 days (XCOM 2)
- Nintendo 3DS: 0 days (Fire Emblem: Fates)
- PlayStation Vita: The PlayStation Vita has never had an AAAE
Counting brand, timed, console, or de facto exclusives, this is what it comes to:
- PlayStation 4: 22 days (The Witness)
- Xbox One: 3 months, 6 days (Rise of the Tomb Raider)
- Wii U: 5 months, 6 days (Super Mario Maker)
- PC: 5 days (Darkest Dungeon)
- Nintendo 3DS: 0 days (Fire Emblem Fates)
- PlayStation Vita: 3 years, 2 months, 24 days (Persona 4 Golden)
