its so funny how people think the Wii is just a GameCube....then try to compare a rushed port to Xbox games and say Wii cant even produce Xbox graphics.......does anyone remember Rogue Squadron II, Resident Evil Cube, Resident Evil 4 among other games? Yeah Wii will be able to produce those types of games aesthetically.......and some....Uptown

This has been posted to death. Next gen, simply means that its the next generation of games(or consoles). It doesn't matter how bad they look, or how they play. but lets play it your way. Those aren't next gen... and this is?:

all systems are capable of bad graphics. the Wii is more than capable.

I just can't believe that the Wii is built on the same hardware as gamecube. These games look like they could have came from the n64.

These screens look amazing.  No questions needed.  TC, quiet down and rearrange your eyes.  Then look at these screens.

Graphically, the Wii is junk. Hell all around the Wii is junk. TP is the only game for the system that I enjoyed. Haven't played my Wii in months. The only reason it is selling is because Nintendo is tricking non-gamers into buying it. Sad really.eastside49er

The last thing I would wish upon a non-gamer is a 360 or PS3. They simply would not enjoy it...and isn't that the point of playing games, to enjoy yourself?

How about this:

Granted their not awsome but many sources said this is not even close to the tip of the iceberg in terms of what Wii can do. These people jsut gave a half ass effort and it slooks pretty good. Now lets get a dev that really works on it like Capcom and were gonna see some good stuff. Too bad you haters will never understand.

the wii controller is a huge gimmick. many reviewers of games and also people who have played the wii like the new idea of the controls but couldnt shake the feeling that they would rather be playing it on a standard controller. for me, i played rayman at a friends house and the only fun game on it was the bunnies cant dance thing, which wasnt all that great newayz. i have to give props to zelda though, its a real fun game but playing it with a standard controller on the gamecube and having just as much fun shows that the wiimote didnt help innovate zelda at all.
