I work all day in front of acomputer , damn if I'm coming home and relaxing in front of one.
Plus you cant play this on your PC:
Eh, I can't justify spending $400 on a new graphics card just for an upgrade in graphics.
But hey, if you have the money, go for it.
Eh, I can't justify spending $400 on a new graphics card just for an upgrade in graphics.

An upgrade in graphics and also framerate, the latter of which has a big impact on gameplay. You haven't played Gears till you've played it on a good PC. I have both versions and the difference is pretty staggering.

NightMorning
Because there are games being released on consoles that will never be on the PC. Not everyone has a superior PC to play superior PC games. Consoles games are where the profits are which is why developers are moving a lot of the PC game over to the game console. ;) Nuff said.

Yea-no.
If you have a case, hard drive, dvd drive, and motherboard, you can play Crysis on 1/2 Very High 1/2 High settings on resolutions up to about 1600x1200 (more than 1080p) for less than 550 dollars, ($220 for ATi 3870, $150 for AMD 5200+ Black Edition, $100 for a 500W PSU, $100 for a mid-range motherboard, $80 for 2gigs of RAM = $550)
If you have never owned a computer, you can build one that can run Crysis at all High/Very High for ~800 tops.
PS3 (400) + 360 (350) + Wii (250) = 1000 dollars.... Oh wow, look at that, PC gaming costs much LESS than owning all the consoles?!!?!?! Zomg!
As usual it takes 3 consoles to stand up to the singular one entity that is PC.Blackbond
For who?
To me, the PC really doesn't interest me besides for FPS. With Crysis being non-linear I just wish consoles would have that, instead we have to do things step by step and be walked through like we're noobs.
It's just too much of a hassle, and to me its not worth it. If it stepped up in the platformer department, I would consider buying it. I really see a lack of RPGs aswell, Dragon Age and The Witcher seem like the only RPGs I would be interested in. So I would be without two of my favorite genres if I bought the "superior PC".

Your argument is lame.
I have a good PC and I love all gaming but consoles are more and more my perfered platform as I get older.
I have a job where I come home knackerd both physicaly and mentaly so if there is any effort involved in getting the satisfaction I get pissed off. This is ment to be my leasure time god damn it! Example CoD4 start to play some MP but the menu and game browser is just sh*t what year is it '98? Anyway I get over that and then findout I gotta patch ( I was silly enough not to get the steam edition, steam was none of the problems I outline here in. It rocks) so I patch, it only takes a little while but in the time it did take I could have played a round of Halo which auto patches and finds the games for you and everyone playing has the same performance and controler and it's just so damned easy to do. Plus I buy my console and it's good till next gen I can play everything that comes out.
I buy my PC and soon enough it's slipping and I need a new X or a better Y or a whole new shebang. You get dual core so GRAW runs like silk but nearly nothing else uses it so it feels like a waste of money. Anyway PC gaming is good but console gaming is just as good but so much easyer.

dont try to hide theh HDD = 80 case = 80 optical drive = 30 and KBM = 20 (I build desktops for a living)
consoles are xbox core= 280
ps3 40 gb = 400
wii = 250
=930 vs 830 on low setting for crysis

I have an AMD 4200+, Nvidia 8800GT, 2gigs of cheapo G Skill RAM, and am running at 1400x900 on all High with shadow on medium, textures and models on Very High.
If I bought the processor I listed in my original post, then damn straight I could run it on those settings. Watch the gamespot video review, and consider that those are pretty much the exact same specs their test machine has, and look at their FPS.
Or look at their benchmarks, or those from tomshardware, or gamershell, or..... anywhere.
I'm not going to go record myself playing Crysis and upload a 500 MB file to prove you wrong. Sorry, you aren't THAT important to me.

ACtually it isn't...PC + any system destroys any other system combinations...
For instance PC + 360 destroys Wii + PS3
PC + PS3 destroys 360 + Wii
But heres the best part: PC destroys Wii + PS3 + 360.
We pretty much get all the big hitters from the 360 eventually, we'll probably get DMC4 because all the others were ported, and the Wiimote already works with PC games:| On top of that, the Wii is so similar to the GC, emulation will be incredibly easy.

There is no such term as a console exclusive on SW. Exclusive is a term defined as being available only on one platform. It being on consoles and not PC doesn't count as exclusive. Now if you want to talk about them being games on Console and not PC then man that would take a lot of work to figure out. Do you want to volunteer for the job? Why even entertain his ridiculous notion that the comparison should be all consoles vs. PC.
The 360 and PC have more in common than the 360 and the Wii hardware, software libraries and corporate allegiance, so why should the latter two be grouped. You also threw out the price argument.
There's been no reason to consider the 360, Wii and PS3 as a single entity.
