Im sorry a 19inch monitor cant look much better past 720p( I know mine goes to 2054x2054) and all it does is make the text so small and the image barely sharper. So you are going to need about a $1200 dollar LCD monitor to take advantage of (TEH SUPERIOR RESOLUTION). And extra cables? Um the only extra cable needed for all the consoles is one HDMI cable for the PS3 the rest of the consoles come with it. Extra controllers? If your friends can bring thereown computers then mine can bring there own controllers.

LOL yes I do and its about5 years old. Its a View Sonic 19inch CRT. its model number is G90mb. CRT models have been doing those resolutions for years.

No you dont. What game are you playing on Ultra high ? The only game that looks better then any console game on Ultra High is Crysis and your 8800gt isnt gonna play that at anything more then 12fps.

Well My GTX is pretty damn nice.... i mean i can play resolution up to 1920x1200... how is halo btw with VGA resolution or for that matter then Wii? So long for the HD generation!

I need to buy a new console every generation, i dont need to buy a new compter.

and you gotta upgrade a pc twice every generation unless you go with the ultra high end in which case you wont be playing games at max after a year and will barely play games on low by the end of 5 years.

But I garanty i'll have better graphics then any console when on play ultra high... Since the only thing i need to change is the graphic card. Wich a 269$ 8800GT kills any consoles.

Well My GTX is pretty damn nice.... i mean i can play resolution up to 1920x1200... how is halo btw with VGA resolution or for that matter then Wii? So long for the HD generation!

Listen I like consoles better then PC's. I am a console gamer. But I recognize statistically and factually going by games ect the PC is the best. I'm only making outlandish statements in response to console gamers outlandish statements towards PC.

Im playing Uncharted on my 1080p tv and its one of the best looking games ive ever seen.

The pc which consist of millions of machines that have no competiton among games are competing against 3 consoles owned by 3 multi billion dollar companies who are competeing with one and other for games? Why dont we compare the 360 to a midrange pc that was aviable at the same time and see who wins that? If you are then the game doesnt look that good to begin with. Because no technically demanding game runs great on pc's at 1080p. You couldnt even dream of running Crysis on High at those settings.

Then you dont own a PS3 because I can say confidently you are wrong on both accounts. Crysis on High looks better then Uncharted but on medium no. And GeoW regardless of what settings your playing isnt even in the same league as Uncharted. Its primative lighting effects, weak particle effects and static enviornments look simple. But then again ive played both and you havent.
