In defense of the topic creator, doesn't it make sense to compare early Gamecube games to early Wii games. Wouldn't that be more accurate then comparing pics of games that came out several years after the Gamecube hardware was out to a game on the Wii which has been out for only a couple of months. Heck, this reminds me of when the 360 was out, people were saying that Resident Evil 4, Riddick, God of War, and Ninja Gaiden looked better then most 360 titles and some where calling it XBOX 1.5, however now a year and a half later, we see that the 360 is undoubtedly more powerful then last gen system. The Wii isn't as powerful as last gen systems, but lets be logical here, the best-looking Wii games that probably won't come out for another couple of years will look more impressive then games like Resident Evil 4, and Ninja Gaiden. However some of you refuse to believe this. Some of you, somehow think that the Wii has reached it's limits graphically 3 months after launch.agreed

And this...Knowing that the TP shot is concept art and the game itself looks virtually the same on the GameCube as on the Wii. As for Brawl, like someone said. Melee was a launch Cube game. It would be pretty easy for the GameCube to achieve graphics close to those.gigabrowser12

I'm pretty sure it has the same amount of hardware as the cube. Consoles generally don't have multiple graphics cards, processors, etcpurplemidgetsWell it has 2 usb ports, game cube ports, memeory card, online, double disc player, YOU GET MY POINT!!
its kind of sad that sheep always compare it to last gen for graphic comparisons Dead_MennAnd? Lemmings and cows try to compare it to last-gen hardware to show that "lolz teh wii hs bad grafx but i cn braely get my piotn acorss bcuz i falied 2nd grdae!!!!!!!11111" Of course, cows and lems show games built on GC devkits, GC ports, and PS2 ports to support their (admittedly flimsy, ineffectual, and juvenile) arguments that the Wii is somehow weaker than the TurboGrafx16. Sheep show early games for the Wii (games that started production in 2004) and place them against early titles for the GameCube. Which is the lesser of the two evils here? Thought so.
One is meteoid prime 2, can you guess?gigabrowser12The difference isn't 'astounding', but it does look pretty good. Compare the jump between MGS3 and MGS4, and it's much larger then that of MP2 and MP3.
top is cut scene? No?gigabrowser12No idea. RE4 looks like poo in most of the screenshots, much like Ninja Gaiden, yet both games are stunning in movement.
