your fanboy rant doesnt deserve proof, Find me proof of what you say before you make your ridiculous claims.

One single layer Blu-ray disk, £4.03
Ten dual layer DVD disks, £4.13
that doesnt transfer through to us when we purchase the games though.that doesnt transfer through to us when we purchase the games though.

That wasn't what was in question, the question was whether five DVDs are cheaper than one blu-ray.
I like to have many discs, i think its pretty and cool to have.
Am i the only one?
edit: I mean not for every game ofcourse, but i am a FFfan... so..
Ty for replying for me, just looked up the prices. Looking at blank Blu-ray (ya, ill get it right this time!) discs, the VERY lowest I can find is $12 Australian (on Ebay, and that is only an auction with no buyout, so around $15AUS normally I am guessing), while just in any random shop I can grab 50 DVD-R discs for 50cents each. Sure, Blu-ray may or may not be cheaper to make, but market value is still more important then actual value.Well i guess you are right then. the cartdrige reference, and then the mutiple discs = epic coments lead me to believe there was bias, if i am wrong then i am sorry, but theres so many fanboys on here spouting nonsense sometimes the lines get blurred.EDIT: BTW, in reply to the post I missed, it is hard to call me a fanboy when I don't have either a 360 or PS3 and don't really value one company above the other.

Do we even no if FFXIII is on a single layer blu ray disc.
Do we even no if FFXIII is on a single layer blu ray disc.

I cannot imagine a game today using more than 50GB worth of information, they would have to intentionally bloat it up.
But for the sake of argument let's assume it's a 2 Blu-ray game, DVD's would still be cheaper as you would just be doubling the existing conclusion.
Doesn't this thread destroy the fanboy coments of how the discs are cheaper on 360 so no one would want to make games for PS3 as they lose profit?
*looks up* oh wait

if it were going to be a 2 disc blu-ray game couldnt they just use a larger disc? arent there 200gb blu-ray discs around.if it were going to be a 2 disc blu-ray game couldnt they just use a larger disc? arent there 200gb blu-ray discs around.

When talking about price that would be one expensive blu-ray, having a single one wouldn't negate it being more expensive.
Oh god, that mean 360 owners actually have to get off their couch after 15+ hours of gaming to *gasp* change their disk!
I own a PS3 and Im still getting FFXIII for the 360. Besides the fact that Id like to keep my 360 collection growing, I like the nostalgia of swapping discs and the sense of accomplishment of finishing them :P
