I am going to buy Crysis, with $50. Its not going to hurt my wallet.smokeydabear076What about the chair and the room for the chair? And the house for the room? And the PC to play the game? And the couch to imitate the superb quality of comfort found on a console?
You're up to half a million there, pal.

Oh YEAH I forgot, it is going to cost a fortune!!!! Might as well just pirate this $50 game because I am already spending $500,000 on my PC gaming setup.Wii has complexity in its game but the X360/PS3/PC its wayyyyyyyyyyy too complex and I agree with Square-enix, too over-engineered. Ever wonder why the WII is so darn popular? it has the right amount of comlexity in its games, it attracts hardcore and casual alike. Games like Zelda TP prove this.Wii.......in my opinion calling it a peace of crap would be polite,
if u cant keep up with the complex stuff during nex-gen than go back and play playstation/dreamcast, simple as that

Yes the X360/PS3/PC are okay systems you can say but they are too complexed. All they do is just improved graphcis while the wii not only improve graphics but also gameplay. Nintendo is thinking ahead like always. But!!but teh wii graphics SUX!111 Look at super mario galaxy, it looks brilliant and can pass as a X360/PS3/PC game without the complexity. Crysis does look good but tell me, how many people out there will actually buy that game? Most of the people who are planning to play Crysis are those who know about bit torrent and copying games, and that's a fact.Click_ClockThat shows everyone how little you actually know about hardware and technology. PS3/360/PC only improve graphics? Let's not forget about AI, physics, and all that improved graphics entail. Gameplay is not solely about control either, it's a balance of all of these. Get into the fact that saying the Wii improves gameplay is as opinionated as saying the PS3, 360, or PC improve gameplay. It's just that some people seem to have fallen for Nintendo propaganda that states "the Wiimote makes games more fun". Is this a true statement? Yes and no, it's subjective. It has for some and hasn't for others. Stick with the facts that are quantifiable, actual hardware power and improvement. And I'd like to know where your proof for that last "fact" came from.

Because graphics, physics, animations and AI isn't important and can't improve gameplay. And releasing an underpowered console - limiting the above - with no real online strategy equals forwardthinking.

Spore is more innovative than anythign on the Wii. At lest the 360 and PS3 are not trying to do a gimick just expand graphics , improve music etc.
Improved on GC's graphics. The Wii didn't imporve graphics..
and the games are crap so far

The wii is a fade, Nintendo thinks its winning but its not like that. I mean its exciting at first but Throw your controller evry second gets boring. Nintendo has to understand that majority of gamers are older adults/ teens. Overall The wii's chaos is slowing down, just like how it was the most wanted product now its #5 in the top five on cnet. Just like music the wii will go away. Its hot now but gets boring ( My cuz has a wii and he says this too) The games coming out for the wii ( Super mario) has been Done many times and what Nintendo fails to find out people grow up and things get old. Why should I buy a wii when the only great games are made by nintendo??? Zelda/ Mario/ Smash Bros/ Come on man its a Fad..it will get old quick trust me.

So that's why the Gamecube lost horribly. It's library can be compared to *shudder* red steel.
I know it's not true, just answering your comment. Still, I think you're fundamentally wrong: Why is it that more power must mean more complexity for the end user? Why is it that you need a Wiimote for an improvement in gameplay?
In both cases, the answer is similar: It doesn't mean that, and it doesn't need that.

Don't give me "MOST of the Wii games are crap" crap. PS2 has 1,500 games, only50 are probably must buys. That would make 1,450 games crap, does that mean the PS2 is crap? No.

Erm Crysis will be bought buy anyone who can play it even on low from word of mouth, the developers are adding new effects to the game to coincide with newer tech to keep the game interesting graphically/technically until Crysis 2 ...
Then assuming its all good, it will become another Half-Life, a game that doesnt go missed by many PC gamers...
Mario Galaxy? rofl, yea "teh innovation" just like Mario Sunshine, another Mario "Innovation" flopage.
What some of you dont realize about PC games like Crysis/ Half Life / Unreal and other games is that these games are graphically good 2-3 years later, those that run it crap now will have new PC's and it will be even better, theres no "Timeline" for great PC games ... we dont need to fork out $60 a game every 4 months to fell "Teh next gen" or "the next great game zomg must have coz its NEW"....
He said SUper Mario Galaxy graphics can pass as a PS3/X360/PC game

Mr. Ignorant have you even seen the videos of Mario Galaxy and how it all runs at a silky smooth 60 fps, because then you would realize how fantastic the graphics are.
That's why I'm all for copy protection, these people work really hard only to have their game stolen by thousands of people. It's sad really. I loved the final dungeon boss fight and the creativity of the dungeons. I also enjoyed fishing, fighting on horseback with arrows and a sword, and the Cave of Ordeals. Not to mention sniping the archers on the boars when you go into the Gerudo Mesa.

you know that copy protection is bs... remember starforce? its been blamed for ruining several cd drivers, not to mention they could be bypassed... Blizzard has done a great job so far keeping people from piriting their games sure some people still do but then they cant enjoy all the glory that Bnet can be. Half life 2 and steam games did the same thing, developers just need to think of new ways of giving their "payng public" exclusive content that comes with the purshase of an original game, and piracy wont stand a chance.
about epic statment we (pc gamers) all know (at least most of us do) modchips are out there and they arent much diferent from torrented games...

Im sorry but your totally wrong on your points. First of all why are they too complex? They are very simplfied for the gaming perspective. Then you say that they only bring new graphics but your totally wrong on that since more power brings not only graphics but Animation's, Phyisics, AI, new ways to interact with the enviroment, and even more units on the screen which can totally change how a war game or other games like that were played int he past. So no power doesnt just bring graphics, it brings WAY more.
