You don't have to play on that server. What that video shows is the possibilities we can use in a game even when the developer try's and stop it. There are going to be thousands of different servers up with different options, this isn't the only one.

IW tryed to stop mods and dedicated servers from being used and they just got owned badly. This video shows that they can't stop modding unless they stop selling the PC version lol.

You guys don't get it. It's not about unlimited ammo no gravity. Its about showcasing the fact that PC modders have already managed to clear a technical hurdle that the developers had put up that handicapped the usual variety and amount of options of usual PC multiplayer gaming. Its called pirating. Some probably did purchase the game, and Activision is laughing at your hack/mods all the way to the bank if you did.

Poll PC gamers, here on SW, and a majority will tell you that MW2 is for noobs, and they would rather wait for Battlefield BC2(which is just like MW2 in terms of multiplayer) and play Red Symphony or whatever all day. I agree more choice is a good thing, and I have played on a PC for years, and am currently playing DA:O on a PC. I think my point is, this is a poor way to show that the PC > consoles. Actually, this is probably the worst way. Instead, show the sweet mods that have been done for Crysis, Stalker, etc. Those impress.

Hopefully everyone playing this hacked version of the game gets permabanned.

You don't need to play the MW2 to know it's a noob game. Killstreaks and deathstreaks alone are enough. The whole point of dedicated servers is the ability to customize and set your own rules on that servers. Obviously dedicated servers for zero grav and the like are joke servers. While there are other servers for clans or for pro games which have default settings. You're assuming the whole point of dedicated servers is for infinite nades and zero gravity, which is extremely flawed.

Wow can't beliave that some people on here don't seem to get the point of this video. It's not about using low gravity and infinity ammo cause hardly any PC gamer will play that. The reason why I made this post is to prove that PC gaming is the best cause you have the FREEDOM to play the way you want, not how the developer wanted you to play. Noone is forcing you to play on a mod server, you can just play the normal game but you have a CHOICE to play in many different ways, something that console players will never get. What they will get is the rip-off $10 DLC for 3 maps and they will all be happy lol.

Who doesn't like freedom to do what he/she wants? Clearly some people are opposed to that, maybe they should go live in North Korea if they like that type of system....

Seeing this makes me glad I have stopped playing PC shooters. How is this why the PC is better. You are not playing the game as the developers intended, I am still at losses to understand how this makes it better. I love my PC for games, but this doesn't prove anything.

Thank God for PC Gamers. I knew this would happen. If they can do it with MMOs, they can do it with FPS.
