Ace Combat 6 is pretty much the only 1 i don't agree with on there, also the order, i think orange box, cod and bioshock were better than halo 3

EDIT: They described Halo 3 as "The perfect hardcore first person combat simulator". :lol: -12 points on the respect-o-meter. That description is laughable.

As for corporate ties, I think you'll find that the only organisation that TIME cuts corners and lies for is located in the White House.

It's a respectable list. they're not a gaming magazine, after all.

This is a list of games that had the most impact and produced the most joy for the most people. It's kind of sad everyone think their little niche corner of the market (hermits) or failure of a system (cows) should somehow place more prominently than these games which defined the year.JiveT

...and many gamers would disagree. At least TOB and SMG are on the list. It's good to be counted amongst the best games of the year, no matter where exactly you fall on the list.

At the very least where are the PC games? Unless they are going completely off sales (which they're not), then where's the impact that Crysis has had? And if it is about "impact" then why is Orange Box number 2 when half the box came out over a year ago and it's not exactly been a best-seller?

Seems like they pulled names out at random.

That list is spot on. The order of the list is totally messed up. But that looks like any list you'd see from IGN or gamespot.

Could have used at least ONE PS3 game to broaden the choices but thats the PS3 fan in me speaking.

Crysis has not managed to find its way into the mainstream conciousness.

Its a niche only because so few people can actually run the game.

That list is spot on. The order of the list is totally messed up. But that looks like any list you'd see from IGN or gamespot.

Niche huh? $250 GPU's sold 13 million in ONE QUARTER. ONE QUARTER. Those are being used for GAMES. If you use a $250 GPU for multimedia.... well.... I don't even need to say it...
