Titanfall 2 announced; coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC

And why wouldnt they want game on current gen 8 console leading PS4. Makes sense if you ask me,

Just make sure it stays multiplayer only. I don't want some throw away singleplayer campaign like Battlefield. Respawn can easily do a better job with adding a story mode within multiplayer. They just need to have more intricate objectives and build a story and structure the gameplay outside of the standard multiplayer modes(unlike Titanfall where it was just multiplayer modes with videos tacked on). Respawn can have set piece battles for maps that can follow a story line and offer scenarios you won't see in the standard multiplayer modes.

Titanfall is the best multiplayer FPS this gen. (Sorry COD and LOL at Killzone), great that PS4 people get to play it too.

I'll be getting this day 1, the first Titanfall gave me "COD4" tinglies! :D

It reminded me of UT2K4 where no matter how fast my PC was running it...it seemed to skip frames or something.

Cod is good, Titanfall is better, everyone who isn't a PS fanboy cares about Titanfall, it's the best multiplayer FPS of the gen so far.

Wow, now this is some forced ownage. Cows are trying really hard here. It was always multiplatform anyway. It was on the 360, X1 and PC. What difference does it make that the PS4 is added to the mix now?

Its crazy the amount of hate Titanfall gets. Mostly from salty ass cows around the internet that were jelly it wasn't on PS4, and wanted the game to fail lol. The game is unique & fun as hell.

The campaign was a bit flawed, the average person doesn't understand the story mode (I never cared lol). I also think they needed more guns, and more titan choices.

Like all multiplats I suspect the PS4 version will be the superior version.

If there will be single-player, it would probably suck as hard as Battlefield's singe-player. Stop hoping for a single-player mode for multi-player games. Play something that was made for single-player instead.

Technically they've not attempted one yet as they tried to blend both together, if the outcry is large enough to make them consider one then they could surprise. The multiplayer portion isn't going anywhere for people who prefer it.

While I'm sure that's true, I think there's a reasonable underestimation there. But we shall see what happens. They could do some interesting things with their mech warfare despite it being scripted.

You can have single player without multiplayer but you cannot have multiplayer without singleplayer.

Without Xbox Gold the first game made a nice coaster... and that's only if you bought the disc. I can't believe people support this crap for $60. It's a $30 at max digital game.

I will buy this if they create an actual story mode. Bonus points if they include offline multiplayer.

Meh Titanfail. What Sony needs is a current gen Warhawk. Now there's a multiplayer game that lasted years, and it also had no singleplayer.

If you buy a multi-player game because it has offline with bots, you're doing it wrong. I agree that it should be an option, though, for those who have no internet connection and are extremely bored.

I definitely understand your concerns as far as gameplay goes, but I'd also still like to see them try. You may also be basing your prediction about the single player experience too much off what COD and BF can offer when it could ultimately be different in ways, hell maybe even Respawn might know it has to be different and share your concerns. We won't know if they never get a chance to try. It's the same with fleshing out their universe the game is in. I doubt they could have shown much off or gone in depth in a multi-player online experience with some minor story incorporation. I'm thinking more large scale warfare or hoard mode operations where I couldn't see much changing in terms of gameplay, it would still mean you dancing around the sky in and out of buildings killing fools, the same amount of bots included to make it chaotic etc.

idk man, COD and BF single player can't be the only route to take single player wise, at least I hope not; but then again I wouldn't mind either which way. There are people out there that love the thrill ride of being awesome through a scripted single player. Not to mention the obvious pluses of being able to play that in an event you some how can't play the multiplayer.

Why would cows love it? Titanfall was not that great.

They should model the single player level design off of Halo. Have more vehicles than just mechs, incorporate the monsters into the level design, etc. Hell, the game should have space battles, too. And for god's sake, put some damn bosses at the end of the levels.

It's probably going to end up being just another boring multiplayer-only shooter with a season pass for sale on day 1.

I swear if warhawk was on 360 it would have gotten the attention it deserved. One of the most underrated multiplayer games of last gen. Also priced to sell as multiplayer only, $30 digital download and $60 if you wanted the physical copy bundled with a head set. That's how you price a multiplayer only game.

Not this one, I loved Titanfall. Sunset Overdrive and Titanfall were some of the most fun I had last year. Its a fun game imo and I think more gamers will agree.

Oh yeah, they called it "Titanflop" and they all said they played it on the PC and it sucked. Now they're all excited lol. They do that. Bungie were shit and so was their Halo, yet they were excited like a vibrator was put in their pants for Destiny. That's why everyone mocked THEM when Destiny flopped.
