'Titanfall': (Dev) Better on XB1 than PC... Most Ever E3 Critics Awards with Six

You couldnt make this game without having that kind of dedicated server support.

Not only that, but since Respawn wont be using the Xbox cloud on the PC version of TitanFall they say the PC version wont be as good as Xbox One version. Or at least they hint at that. They said:

We wont get all the nice-ities on PCs that you get on Xbox One. There will be some re-engineering things.

Basically Respawn says that the game will be best on Xbox One because of the cloud. Since the game is an online title it makes sense that theyd use this feature so much since players will need internet to use the game anyway.

so glad i dropped my ps4 preorder. looks like the definitive version of titanfall will only be available on the Microsoft Xbox One.

Despite having quite literally an order of magnitude more games across consoles than on PC I have to say that you REALLY need to work to make the PC version of a game inferior.

If they've managed to do that here it gives me no confidence in the quality of their work in other areas.

Infinity Ward is probably the most overrated developer on the planet. So, I probably wont be playing this anyway. I'm sure the little 14 year olds on Xboxlive now have something to boast about but for grown up pc gamer people such as myself, I'll be playing mature FPS like Red Orchestra 2 and caring very little about the Xbox One's wicked ways.

Awesome but since there's time before release, they need to rethink not having an SP mode b/c I've lost a bit of interest in the game since learning there will be no SP campaign.
