ok, solid titles, although Quantum is propably as much "game" as Dear Esther is on PC, wich is not that much. still great idea.

point being, i don't understand the buzz around this Titanfall.

You couldnt make this game without having that kind of dedicated server support.

Not only that, but since Respawn wont be using the Xbox cloud on the PC version of TitanFall they say the PC version wont be as good as Xbox One version. Or at least they hint at that. They said:

We wont get all the nice-ities on PCs that you get on Xbox One. There will be some re-engineering things.

Basically Respawn says that the game will be best on Xbox One because of the cloud. Since the game is an online title it makes sense that theyd use this feature so much since players will need internet to use the game anyway.

Of course they will say its better on xb1, they stand to make more money from console sales and have more total sales on a console.

Even if this is indeed true and its better on xb1 I have to ask, why would they make it better for xb1? Shouldnt they try to make the game be as equally good regardless of what system its running on?

Despite having quite literally an order of magnitude more games across consoles than on PC I have to say that you REALLY need to work to make the PC version of a game inferior.

If they've managed to do that here it gives me no confidence in the quality of their work in other areas.

All these multiplayer only games. :( Titanfall and The Division didn't interest me all that much due to being multiplayer-focused. Destiny was the same way though, and then I saw more of the game and I think it looks solid. Maybe it'll change. 

It's good to have variety in this industry tho. And besides, there are plenty of singleplayer games coming around for me to feast upon. :twisted:

The only similarity I see is perhaps the UI on screen, like the mini map, the little X you get over the reticle when you shoot people etc. Other than that, its totally different.
