TLHBO.. windows 8 like OS forced onto the Xbox360

windows 8's launch looms but already its going to be ruining people day. the good news is that its lems who are getting the worst of it. i give you XBL metro!:

for those wondering this is what windows 8 under metro looks like. except with a free-motion mouse. or if your using a touchscreen nothing but images.

all i see here is fugly green and white on fugly gray.. blended togeather to form a big inconvenience.

look on the positive side. at least the XBL menu system now support 720p instead of being upscaled standard definition

1. it looks like the current dashboard just with a few more boxes.

2. Its not as if you can't customise the back ground with a theme or anything instead of fugly grey.

if you dont have kinect, go to the movies and hit right stick on the advert. my dashboard has a nice view of saint Marks Square from the assassins creed premium theme at the moment.

its so easy to use, i dont know why people complain, the cows seem to hate it, yet they rejoiced the other day when the PSN store got a facelift. tools.

I think me has taken the service too far. Unless they add some kind of Xbl branded movie streaming, I much prefer the simplicity of just hitting MULTIPLAYER within the game. It feels as though the games are no longer the focus, IMO.Heirren

Also often i sign in and start the game with my voice rather while brewing up or getting the room ready, its easier than tidying up carrying a controller around. I really like the new dashboard and the net browser when i have used it has been pretty good, i still prefer the PC of course.

If that's only the XBL dashboard version, then I couldn't care less but there is absolutely no way I would accept an OS that stomped the middle of my PC desktop with an advert, I'd sooner use MacOS X

The Play Game Button Screen is so far in the corner it might as well be more Advertising and the only way to launch a game would be to press the Xbox Button on the Controller.

i've been in the beta for weeks, the update is fantastic, the browser works really well and everything is even quicker than before there are new things too (which i cannot talk about). I cant see any ownage sorry.sts106mat

I honestly dont have an issue with live, a 20 deck of Malboro Reds costs more nowadays.
