[QUOTE="rilpas"]360 and PS3 controllersCherokee_Jack

This, and a Gravis Eliminator Aftershock in storage somewhere.

What a POS that was.

Oh, I also have my Wii remote.

The sticks being at the top kinda makes the grips useless doesn't it? What a horrible controller design...

Currently, I just have my Logitech G500 Mouse and Microsoft Sidewinder X4 keyboard.

But very very soon I will be getting a wired 360 controller and at some point I'll probably get a Logitech racing wheel.

Also might get one of the logitech PC gamepads.

Hm.. That's the opposite complaint about my PS3 controller. The sticks are too close together and my thumbs sometimes bump into each other.

There are two ways to do it. If it's a wired 360 controller (built-in out of the packaging), then it's as easy as plug-and-play since the drivers will self-update. There are unique optional drivers with different features, but they aren't required. If it's a wireless controller, you will need a wireless receiver for the computer to read it. Using a play and charge wire on a wireless controller will not work.

The mouse is without a doubt far superior than analog for aiming, I have realized. I just cant stand keyboard for controls. Also, you cant move with certain momentum like an analog stick lets you. Is there a mouse + something else hybrid that ;et me have the precision of the mouse, yet allows me to walk/run and better controls than keyboard?

Xbox 360 controller. But I rarely use it. Keyboard and mouse is just better all around for most games. There are two exceptions to my collection: Sonic Generations and Guilty Gear X2 #Reload. Otherwise, KB/M wins out.
