Regarding his Zelda review...

I think his Infamous 2 review was the worst, i mean black and white screen too much? stop sucking then! :P i kid but honestly too funny tho
I actually found that quite funny. How often has Mcshea said something or did something factually wrong when reviewing a game. Seriously
The Saboteur - 2.5 - The moment the game turned to black and white Tom turned off his console and gave it a 2.5
Edit - He actually reviewed The Saboteur! But it got a 7.5....
I'd question the intelligence of anyone who didn't understand his problems with the control. What an idiot.

This really isn't as funny as people want it to be. Sorry guys. Just saying.LA Noire - 5.5 - You have the option to play the game in black and white.

His Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands re-review comes to mind.:P Well ok, more like a correction... and an extra point up for the score.:P
They throw darts on a wall of pictures of their reviewers.I wonder how Gamestop picks who reviews what.

I was going to assume that, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the case!(or is it, really?) ...and then the whole staff was, "uh, oh:(" when it landed on Tom for SS.
You know if you listened to the hot spot you'd realize that he's not alone another gamespot writer played it and backed up everything he had to say about the game. Bread_or_DecideAw I do that for my friends as well sometimes.

Would you prefer if it was reviewed by a fanboy?[QUOTE="Heirren"][QUOTE="Bread_or_Decide"] They throw darts on a wall of pictures of their reviewers. percech

Would you prefer if it was reviewed by a fanboy? No! In fact, the review felt like it was reviewed by a fanboy! A disgruntled one, but a fanboy nonetheless.

They should have just rolled out the objective review robot for this game. Who only reviews games based on facts. They throw darts on a wall of pictures of their reviewers.[QUOTE="Bread_or_Decide"][QUOTE="Heirren"]

I doubt gamespot cares what scores they give or who they give the review to. There shouldn't be a criteria for who reviews what game. He's pretty well versed in Zelda, having played all the other games, and not blindly loving them all. What other criteria do you need to review a game?ok we get it, you are pissed, you wanted SS to score 10 but then THANKFULLY came mcshea not blinded by nostalgia and granted a fair score.I actually found that quite funny. How often has Mcshea said something or did something factually wrong when reviewing a game. Seriously

Gotta love the whole "nostalgia" excuse that nintendo haters love to cling to. apparently everyone that gave this a high score is blinded by it and Tom is some sort've prophet that can see the truth

lol, you guys put way too much stock in numbers people give to stuff you like.
you are supposed to go, "OMG! that's not the right number!" then forget about it not spend days thinking about it, letting it rule your entire existence and plotting about how to avenge your loss by using corel draw for three and a half mins.

Huh!Can that arguement be used for anyone that has little to no experience with the zelda franchise? That includes reviewers to.
