Tomb Raider fans how long would you wait for a PS4/PC version?

i dunno about that, TR2013 got uninstalled after 2h of playtime. Being salty about this kind of garbage is like being jelly of random crap on Xbone like Sunset. There's nothing to be jelly about, its a multiplat that isn't even good unless you're one of those who enjoy Lara's moaning and QTE's every 35sec of gameplay.

If you only played 2 hours, you missed out on one of the best games of the last few years. What a shame.

Disagree. Those 2h were painful. I cannot stand Lara, annoying af character. never liked TR, gave this one a go because everyone was so positive, worst purchase of 2013... This and the Arkham games are the two series everyone like and i cannot stand.

I'll buy x1 and tomb raider on its release

The game actually has a lot of variety and good pacing throughout. There was a heavy focus on cinematic feel and QTE in the beginning for sure, but the whole game is not like that. Anyways, I love the Arkham games too. :) Just don't tell me that you like Uncharted, because I don't see how you can like one and not the other. Regardless of how much you dislike Lara. Speaking of Lara... when you play the game from beginning to end, you get a great appreciation for the character. As you go on the journey with her, you see how she matures and becomes a tough survivor. Not too many games have good character development like that. It is kind of like Ellie in Last of Us. Not as strong writing, but still good. Tomb Raider is basically a darker version of Uncharted. I'd imagine that UC4 will have a similar tone, based on them coming off of Last of Us.

Have every system, if I never get it on PC or PS4 then I'm done with Tomb Raider simple as.

TR is a PC series to me and no matter how much Spencer tries, his bullshit moves will NEVER change that.

Since I own all 3 current-gen console, I was gonna buy Rise of the Tomb Raider 2 day one anyways and I don't care what system it's going cause I have the systems to play whatever comes my way. Hell I even play GTAV on Xbox 360 despite the PC absent and I waited 2 years for the PC to come out.

Edit: I got sick and tired of playing the waiting game, day one on Xbox One.

Don't care about Tomb Raider. I tried the newest one and I was like....meh.

Any Playstation only fans have no choice but to wait if they want Tomb Raider, this isn't a choice for them. Kind of a dumb question. I love how Playstation fans in here are now bashing TR and I bet they all played and enjoyed the last one and played other TR games prior to it lol.

I loved the reboot but if this is how they treat a near 20 year fan base then **** them. If they bring it to PS4 great, I'll buy it used. Same for any other Square game that I find interesting. They won't get a dime from me here on out.

I own an X1 and I'm not getting it day one. The reboot was okay, but I don't know that it's something I'd pay full price for. (Got it as a rental on PS+, nope I don't consider PS+ games as free since I don't get to keep them and I'm paying for them) I may get it when Amazon has it on sale for -$20.00.

Didnt even enjoy the first TR game so couldnt care less about TR games anymore.

@ProtossX There's no way it'll be a year... I'm guessing it'll likely be by January-February of 2016, with Uncharted 4 releasing early summer

This gen I'll build a new computer and will skip XB1 all together. I'll wait for either PC or PS4 version(which ever one comes out first.) If not, I might just buy the 360 one!

I have an X1 so I dont have to wait. I have a PC that could play it too and I played last one on PC first. I like the series and will play it on PS4 if it ever comes too.

It's things like this that makes me happy I'm not a sheep to any one console. Why wait when you can get the game day one.

why didn't you just skip ps4 and build a new pc the pc will run all that better

Yes it is the PS3 version, but I also played the PS4 version when I was visiting my Nephew. Nice graphical update, but it's still the same game. Just not a game I would pay $60 for.

Honestly I'd prefer to play that game on PC, and not the Xbox One I own. So if there is more interesting shit out at the time, I'll probably go play that stuff instead.

Plenty of games to play, so I'll get it for PC when it comes out. Doesn't matter if it's 3 months or 3 years.

TBH Its not a game I would buy day 1 anyway. Though I really enjoyed the reboot id still only buy the new one when i see it in a sale. Then again theres next to no hype for it yet and nothing has been shown so that could change.

That's actually a good idea. I'll get it on my XB1 first and then wait and wait for the PC version. Then get the PC version on Steam for $5 and see how much better the experience is. Woot. The game is DAY ONE for me though.

There should be enough 3rd person action/adventure games with shooting for me to play until it comes out - Mad Max , MGS V , Just Cause 3 , Uncharted 4 , etc.

I can't say that I'm a big Tomb Raider fan , though. My experience with Tomb Raider is mainly only with the last game , and it was solid but mostly forgettable.

Destiny had something something called good/fun co-op, gunplay and raid. TR has NOTHING good.

The reboot was pretty great, but buy a whole new console for it great? lol no. I am in no hurry to play the sequel. It wouldn't be day one for me even if i owned a bone anyway.

day 1 on X1 for me. the 2013 reboot was such an amazing game. I'd hate to wait 6 months or longer to play this one

As long as it takes. No single game is worth buying a whole console for and with TR we know the multiplat is coming anyway. It might take a year or two, but it will come and there's plenty to play till then.

People need to remember something here, this game is timed for an undisclosed period, it could be 3 months, it could be a year. But aside from that you need to consider one thing, just because this is a timed exclusive does not mean it will release on another platform.

Played the last one on pc was a great game just couldn't hold my interest to finish it so I doubt I'd buy the next one as I'm trying to cut back on spending money, and only buy the absolute best tittles of the year.

People need to remember one thing, there are lems like this guy with moronic "it could" excuses, when we all know microsoft "timed exclusives" never stay "exclusives" for more than 6 months and square enix obviously will make ps4 and pc versions to bring all the money they can regardless of what moronic fanboys wish.
