Tony Hawk Ride Review 3.5

Wow i just read the review, and its safe to say Tony Hawk is officially dead. I was expecting a 5.0, but wow 3.5 thats just sad.

Seems like it deserved that score.

I long for the days of Tony Hawk: Pro Skater 4 back when the games were, you know, good.

I can't skate for 2 minutes, spell SKATE, find secret areas, collect video tapes, and run over hobos. You honestly think it deserves higher after what the series originally was?

THPS3 was money.

Last Tony Hawk game I liked was underground so I'm not devistated. What a terrible score however.

Anyone who has fun with this game is either under the influence of drugs or Activision.

Hopefully this is the first of many Activision games to be critically burned and hopefully in turn, commercially flopped.

Gamers don't like to get up and move around. Besides, why stand in front of the TV doing unrealistic movements to mimic skateboarding when you can just do it outside in the real world? It'll costs you less too!

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Especially looking back at the THPS 3 review. I mean it got a 10. (Even tho I know it wont) I hope this sends Activision a message that you can't just pump out a new one every year and expect people to not get tired of it. (just to save COD and GH) But GH series is dieing anyway.

Guess it's time for Activision to start production on 5 different Tony Hawk games. Get hyped for Tony Hawk: Shift!Cherokee_Jack

Activision's daydream of attaching plastic toys to all of their franchises is going to lose them a lot of money.

They need to stop this series. THPS, and the THUG games were great, but they all suck now.

Gamingtread gave it a 92 based off of "10 hours of shared playtime amongst 5 people" and then when IGN and Giantbomb gave it terrible scores, the reviewer proceeded to call Jeff G. a "douche" and "eggplant"

It was hilarious, such terrible journalism that goes beyond the usual piss-poor effort given to us by video game sites.

Can't say I'm surprised, when the controller for your game doesn't work well, it can only go down from there. Not to mention this game breaks the laws of physics constantly.

What other games has Robomodo made on any console handheld or otherwise??? Because I'm suprised Bobby would hand over the reins to one of is cash cows to get slaughtered. (pun intended) To get a 3.5 your either a horrible developer who are out of their leauge, or so lazy that you don't even try when making a game. I wouldn't be suprised if Bobby closes thier doors for this, you know that hunk of plastic wasn't cheap to build or develope.

I'm also wondering what Neversoft's take on this is??? They spent a decade building up this franchise only to see some no name upstart destroyit with one game. I know they have been stuck making GH games for the past a while know. But they can't be to happy with how this played out.

Hey Kev did you try hardcore??? If so how did that go from what I've read it almost seems unplayable at that lvl?

Meh the series was dead to me after UG1...after that game the franchise went to hell imo

I will be picking it up!!! When its in the bargain bin that is. I still want to try real tricks onit and see what it does on screen.
