The top 3 are all sony lol.

One could argue that Sony's inability to develop a console in which is developer friendly is the reason a lot of Playstation 3 games fall short. Not like it's Sony's falt that Lair and Haze flopped so hard.
NFS102
[QUOTE="killerfist"]I definitely thought Lair should've been number 1, that game flopped harder than anything in recent memory. yeah same. plus that game sucked more than KillzoneAgreeable list..
but killzone on #1 is a bit harsh imo

yes it was, but It wasn't as disapointing as Liar was imo. Liar is just Sad. Killzone is decent

i agree here. killzone was passable, it was ok but not great as everyone hoped. lair was supposed to be amazing and it sucks big time. it is a flat out, plain and simple bad game. you could not play the game that is just bad.
Got a good lol out of this:
Perfect Dark Zero
OK, so we scored the game quite highly back in late 2005, but that doesn't mean Perfect Dark Zero wasn't a huge disappointment. As the follow-up to one of the greatest console first-person shooters of all time, great things were expected from Rare, in terms of both gameplay and technical prowess. As a launch title the game didn't look too bad, if a little too shiny, but the gameplay proved to be a short of what was expected. The main culprit was the twitchy controls, which could only be made semi-decent after a prolonged session in the options menu. By no means terrible, but not the sequel to Perfect Dark everyone wanted.
Why not just admit that either a) you fudged the bucket on the PDZ review or b) you're too worried about angry fanboy emails not to include PDZ?
Well this is just 1 mans opinion right?
For a game to be disappointing means it would have high expectations and turn out to not be that great.
I can't agree with anything on that list because I didn't have high expectations for any of those games.
My #1 disappointment for a console game would be MP3.
Super Mario Sunshine should've been on that list. It was a good game, but it still was a huge disappointment to me.DeathScape666
I agree. Take Shadows of the Empire off of the list and put Mario Sunshine in its place.
Sadly I can't go to that site here at work but wondering if Warhawk was on the list. I remember reading some bad reviews for it. I don't believe it tripped and burned like Lair did but still was a disappointment. Also, is that dragon game that was supposed to show off the six-axis on there? I remember the dev and sony have a huge fit about that game when reviews showed how horrible it was.Sins-of-Mosin
Warhawk is not on the list, however that dragon six axis game is Lair and it is number 2 on the list.

Oh, haha, thanks for helping me out there. I think I had Lair and something like Heavenly Sword mixed up?Sins-of-Mosin
Yes, lair is terrible. Since you can't go the the site here is the list.

Ouch, atleast Sony is first in something, first in flops.
:? I thought Brute Force was a fantastic game.msoftburney
I like Brute Force as well. Problem is, it was supposed to be a franchise equal to Halo - Brute Force is nowhere near Halo.
What I find so funny is that as bad a Brute Force flopped (it got an 8 in here, but was hyped 9.5), Killzone flopped a lot harder and didn't sell as many copies, but Sony seems determined to make KillZone a franchise.
decent list .. i agree with most of it
and i remember the bouncer, lol
a trailer for it was shown on a videotape (yes, tape) that came with an official playstation mag around the PS2's launch
still got that tape .. it came with the awesome trailer of MGS2 with snake on the tanker .. amazing!

Killzone did good in sales if im not mistaken.I dont see why killzone 1 got such a bad review. I played the gae at a frieds house not that long ago, and despite a few bugs, it was ok. I only played a few levels but the action was good and it was quite varied with taking out tanks and stuff. Plus the reloading animation was cool to watch, the weapons were interesting and it was fun to play. Its made me even MORE hyped for KZ2!!!!
Haze and lair did not have much to do wuth sony. Haze suprised me though as it came from the guys who made TS3, an AAA title. and lair could have been great, its a technical masterpiece, bt they got the controls and gameplay wrong.
Not one Timesplitters got AAA. Not here. Not on Gamerankings. Not on Metacritic.I dont see why killzone 1 got such a bad review.
